I hustle - can I play? I give my all for Tennessee. I bleed orange - I'm a true Volunteer. I want it.

Is there any I missed - I should definitely be playing.

Again, you were the one who said Pearl gets his minutes because he hustles.

If Tyler Summitt hustles why shouldn't he play? you've clearly stated he plays because he hustles.

I don't think Pearl has hurt us this year when the right combinations are on the floor. You know you are getting nothing offensively when he is on the floor and that the other team will invite him to shoot the ball. He has played good defense and boxed out quite well on rebounds. The combination of he, Hall, McBee on the floor at the same time last night hurt us and allowed the lead to vanish. I, also, don't see him being nearly as effective on defense by getting his minutes at the three position.

On both counts you are way out of your league, son.

I suppose I didn't elaborate enough for the thick skulls of VolNation. Pearl does a lot of little things some of the others don't do as well and up until last night, has helped us win games.

Now, is that good enough for you or are you another one of the guys on this board that think they know more than the coach

Elaborate enough? You clearly stated he plays because he hustles. I was not the one that said that, you were. I pointed it out, then you starting insulting people.

there were no insults. And if you were as smart as you think you are you would have known what I am talking about. Then again, you would probably have to watch 1000 more games to get close to what I've seen.

I haven't seen Pearl play 1000 games. Never said I have seen him play 1000 games. You're still confused. Not trying to meddle, but you certainly don't want to go through your whole life confused, do you?:glare:

I guess Pearl does the little things that don't show up on the stat sheet, like hustle....he hustles so much that he has 7 more fouls (19) than rebounds (12), averages less than 1 assist a game, shoots right at 40% from the foul line and is averaging a whopping 2.1 pts a game. Now 63Vol please tell me how he contributes? I bet his tipped ball stats are off the charts....this kid sucks!

As far as McBee goes, does he hustle too is that why he is on the floor? He shoots about 35% from the field and 3pt line, has double the fouls as he does rebounds (13-6), his assist to turnover ratio isn't to bad and he is filling it up at a whopping 3pts a game.

So if all you have is "Hustle" then GTFO....I heard Coach K just awarded a real go getter a scholarship, he's a straight up hustler...even slaps the floor

Pearl will take charges and gladly do some of the dirty work that clearly some of the others care not to do, and he does these things on a regular basis. Now, would I rather see someone else with much more talent step up and take his minutes? Yes, of course, but that hasn't happened and I have heard lots of guys smarter than 99.9% of the posters here say the same things.

I would rather drop it at this point. I will defer to the coach on this one. Based on what I've seen from some of our posters, I will take his decision over your opinions and come out ahead most of the time:thumbsup:

Yea you really seem knowledgable :crazy:, so by your logic you'll take Pearl taking maybe 1 or 2 charges a game over John Fields who averages roughly 5 rebounds a game, shoots over 60% from the field and 50% from the line (not good but better than 40%), and is the only player we have on the team who has double digit blocks...hmmm yea you're right you probably are the smartest basketball man since John Wooden
