I think we had a couple chances to go to BCS game this past decade.Im standing by the coach we got now in basketball.I think that makes me a pretty good fan.You so called fans with these 1,000 and 1,000 post know so much and loved Pearl when you thought he was doing good for Tennessee. The one reason I dont care about basketball is because of the fair weather fans.What kind of VOL fan would ever tell someone to pull for BAMA.

If you're a good fan you wouldn't say something stupid like hoping we fail in basketball, no matter who the coach. What if I said I hope the football team fails because Dooley is coach, would you call me a good fan?

And then you have the nerve to say you don't care about basketball because of the fairweather fans, which is exactly what you are.

Indiana fired Bob Knight. UNC has won a title without Dean Smith. UT has won a title without the General.

Indaina is 177-144 with six NCAA tourney appearances in 10 years and one Big Ten championship. With Knight, the Hoosiers went 661-240 in 29 seasons and every player who stayed for four seasons left with a Big Ten crown. Since Knight has been gone Indiana has gone through five athletic directors, four university presidents, four basketball coaches.Dean Smith is still Carolina.

Just so we're all clear here, if they fire Bruce then of course they're going to fire Tressel at OSU that did much worse, right? Everyone hold their breath for the double standard. Ohio State won't fire him no matter what the NCAA does. So TN sticks by Pearl until the chips are down and someone outside the university probably, Slive and/or NCAA tell them to fire Pearl albeit not in writing.:banghead2::shhh::angry:
