Pearl Stays In Knoxville.

I didn't realize I said "Memfis" or cut the s off of the end of commonly used verbs such as "knows".

People should read they posts more carefully.

And no ill will to you - I was poking fun at the other guy for relating grammatical errors to ebonics in the first place.

So you think Tyler Smith just made a few grammatical errors/typos?

I have no idea. But of course, you know.

And I'm not a twitter guy, but from what I've seen grammar is not monitored. You just jumped on it for being ghetto or ebonics or something.

I had to read my post 8 times before I caught it.

I noticed they were posting in another thread on the bball forum. I thought I'd throw out a crumb and see how long before nyyvol/lawvol/hatvol move over here.

Real scientific stuff here. To get some sgmvols action would be the elusive quadrashot.

I don't have twitter, nor do I ever want one. But for someone to have a hard time seeing that Tyler's remarks were classless and borderline retarded is looking through some thick orange glasses. So what Dickie V is a bit of a talking head, doesn't make the University of Tennessee look any better to see a profanity laced tirade from a former player.

The moment this fanbase and people get off the ridiculous thoughts of the world is against us the better off we'll be. In the meantime, moronic comments like Tyler's only make the University and its fans look worse.

After a big road win, will Pearl stay in Knoxville for the Ole Miss game or was this merely a scheduling issue?

We certainly didn't play very well without him being down there.

I think it serves the team better. One less distraction to worry about.

I'd use any excuse I could come up with to not have to take a trip to Mississippi.

Given how UT has played in Oxford the last two trips with Pearl, his absence can't hurt.

From what I've seen of Ole Miss, they love the three pointer and have little inside game. If we can shut them down from the outside, we should have a good chance for a road win.

Road SEC games should be tough, but the Pearl (and Buzz) led teams have been woeful in the Tad pad. Similar to the football team's problems in Atlanta.

Based on comments I've read this morning, it sounds like scheduling and compliance were the main issues in Athens. Pearl didin't want to risk being near the team on game day.

Should be interesting to watch and see what he decides to do for Ole Miss.

It's just one of those things sometimes. Like Duke seems to struggle with Florida St for some reason

He can be with the team on game day. Just not during a specific window 2 hrs prior and 1 hr post the actual game.
