So Kiffin and Pearl should be gone. I doubt they are encouraging players to ride around with guns and marijuana and commit robberies.

If all the charges are misdemeanors I don't think any of them will be gone. 4-5 game suspensions is my guess.

that absolutely will keep us from 1 or 2 in sec east and kansas can we just not go out to kansas without tyler even though he is having his worst year as a vol and tatum is a descent backup were going to loose some games bad unless one of those rare team pulling together with out 2 of the top 7 players and 2 more that take up minuets ,well i learned something from this and i get something .i know now why tyler has looked so awful he has smoked his wantabe nba career down the tube and lost a big chunck of his final year in collage,the thing i get is kenny hall will have to get more playing time.,you got to play in real game situation to get better.

Do the 4 players have clean records? If so, they probably won't be convicted of anything above a misdemeanor.

Bruce, in the best interest of the team and for these 4 players suspend them for at least a month or kick them off of the team for good. They do not care about the team or what the University stands for or they wouldn't be doing stupid things like this. The more chances you give players like these, the more of a liability they become. Set a precedent for the younger players that you will not tolerate this kind of behavior. I'd rather have a losing season with respectful players than to have a winning season with thugs.

Coaches do make bad decisions at times, but to blame them for decisions made by players when they are on their own is a little far reaching. More idiots are born than developed. Character is who you are, and a coach can do little to change that.

The only thing coaches and the administration can do is to make it perfectly clear that there is zero tolerance for certain stupid choices. Players need to understand they will be drug tested every week, and failure means they hit the road.

Our university is fast becoming the joke of the land. Maybe the Knoxville police are a little more diligent or focused on athletes than other areas, but players need to understand they must live by the rules regardless. When they put on the Orange, they accept a responsibility to represent their teammates, coaches, the university, and the fans. They give up the right to act stupid with total disregard for anyone else.

Actions have consequences!

True, I predict diversion and community service.........keep your nose clean for a year and it won't appear as a conviction.
