@JimmyHyams: UT receivers coach Zach Azzanni not optimistic Von Pearson (high ankle sprain) will play v Florida. WR Josh Smith (high ankle sprain) is out

Butch welcomed him over the loud speaker by saying "We have another player to hit! Some one get him re-acclimated!!"

Sounds like Butch aint too worried about him.

He will be on the field I'll bet, but only as a distraction. I would use every one and everything I had at my disposal tomorrow. They probably won't actually toss him the ball if he can't run and get hit.

That's silly. Pearson is good, but it's not like he's Amari Cooper.

If he can't play, using him a distraction makes no sense when they can actually play an experienced wide receiver who is a legitimate target to catch the ball.

I say we wait until Saturday for that.

Agreed. Even if we suit Pearson up, they will be watching him like a hawk during warmups. They will have a good idea of how mobile he really is.

I'll bet he can run a route or even block.

I think Von Pearson plays Saturday and has a big impact. I think they have been keeping his status as questionable so the Gators wont prepare for him as much. JMO.

Its about the right time frame. Been like 5 weeks. Tape it, tighten em up, and play ball. He can take off again next week

Not disagreeing but why have him even try practicing and aggravating the injury this week if they don't think he can play until Ole Miss?

They work people back in from injury slowly in most situations. He may be able to go next week, but why play him against UTC. That's why fade said Ole Miss.
