Pencil or Pen?

Zebra F-301 Fine Point Black.

Buy the G-2s for our company (even though I'm not personally a fan of gel pens.)

There is nothing like having a good wood pencil. Not all No. 2's are created equally. So disappointing to pick up, what looks like a good pencil, only to find out it is completely unsatisfying when you try to write with it.

This is exactly why I ask. I've used many a crappy pencils in my day. My mom was super cheap and bought dollar store 100 pencils for $1 bs. The ones where the lead was always already broken inside. I'm a huge proponent of paying a premium for the best quality the first time around.

The generic Staples pencils are what I'm using. Work just fine for me.

I'm worn out looking for a fine point ballpoint pen (not gel). Are they made anymore ??

I prefer a Uniball Vision Roller pen. When I can't get those, I go for the G2.

I have a Mont Blanc ballpoint and a rollerball. Have had both for over 20 years and carry one or the other every day. Prefer the rollerball but the cap is loose so the ballpoint wins most days. Need to send them back to be refurbished.
