Yeah, go through there often. Ate at Burger Republic last week. That place is awesome

I know all about it.
I lived by the driving range for 4 yrs.
it wasnt bad at all.
best thing ever happened was waking up to a flash bang going off in a dumpster below my condo because they had a guy cornered.
never had anything else happen though, but then again i had a few weapon signs around.
moved to franklin 4yrs ago. much much better.

I start a new job in Nashville next month and I don't know where I want to live.

I'll be working near the zoo, and I don't want to live super far away. Looking to rent.

Suggestions, anyone?

in all seriousness, there's a bit more needed.

You want to stay near the zoo, but how far away are you willing to go?

Is it you by yourself, with a signf other, or both with kids?

apartment or house?

what kind of budget? in that area you could go from expensive in Oak Hill to international and cheap off of Nolensville Rd.

what's important? nightlife, social, bars, exercise, quiet community?

as SDV said, we live in an area called Crieve Hall right down the street from the zoo. I like it and I think SDV does too (for now). More family type 200k homes. Not many places to rent but there are some apartments near. Brentwood is nicer but pricier. Going back up Franklin Rd towards Melrose is getting trendy but that can be pricey if you don't watch out. The Lennox Village area is great too if you like being able to walk to things. It would take a few extra minutes to get there from Grassmere with the traffic though.

Let us know and we can suggest areas.

I live about 2 miles from there in a neighborhood called Crieve Hall. There are probably a few rental homes that would work for you

wont see it. He did it once and the CH Neighborhood Assoc. saw it on their fb page then passed resolution of no Richard Simmons outfits. Unless you are Richard Simmons.

dude $1800 a month, will buy a nice house
So stop looking at rentals and buy a house...Sooner you do the sooner, you'll stop throwing money away

Even if you move, then you can rent or lease it..Think of this as the start of your real estate empire

I think I found a reasonably priced place downtown.

There is also a place over near SDV that I like, but I fear I might eat up the savings driving and parking downtown.
