People who make minimum wage

I've had minimum wage, or close to it jobs. But was always just a bunch of young people making a little cash for school or summer spending, that sort of thing. Temporary work, no one planned to make a career out of any of it. Learn good work habits, the basics of responsibility to an employer, team work, etc.

Do they bold part and you won't be making minimum wage long.

I personally never worked a minimum wage job. I went straight into gratuity-based positions, then switched back and forth between commission-based gigs and odd jobs from there on.

I see why minimum wage is there, but I've always preferred getting paid in accordance with the time and effort put into my job.

I would normally agree with this but I hate to have my pay tied to the general public. Thus no gratuity-based positions.

That's exactly how I felt when I quit delivering food and bartending to get into sales.

You then rely on your charisma and the profits of your company.

Same here. I would go crazy with a hourly pay or salary job although I have saw times a salary would be nice.
I do not want to know what I am making each week.

I love the opportunity to bring in the deal that can make me smile at the end of the week.

Not a believer in a set minimum wage. But i would never ever belittle a person who works hard but makes less.

Your man Mitt is a supporter of the min wage. That's one stance he hasn't flipped on.
