Some one on here told me not to hold my breath while I waited for the Dooley Recruiting Miracle....I didn't listen to them, held my breath, blacked out, and just woke up...it is10:08 p.m. here in Long Beach, Ca....makes it 1:08 a.m. there in Knoxville.....still waiting to here that Ambles is a VOL...Nance and Rogers are VOLS....Stone picks U.T.....and Green followed in his parents footsteps and didn't spit in the face of their Alma Mater.:eek:k:

I think we still land Chaz Green. If we do lead for James Stone he will most likely be a Vol as well since NSD is a week away.

Also, I think these guys have been right maybe once..? I never listen to them.

If this does happen..which I highly doubt, we would definitely pull off a top 5 class.. I would be content with one out of the five, but to land 3 would be astoundingly outstanding for Dooley.

Actually what Doc said was his source in the AD told him these things and he did nto believe there was any way we got Ambles back. His source has been pretty good in the last year. He did float the big fish and only missed it by 2 days with Hunter. I think a 4 star commit to LSU that swings his commitment to us makes him a big fish.

His source might be right here too. Ambles just likes to mess with people and very well may still stay with us. I just wish we could tell him no thanks and pull the offer.

Context. Doc B could run circles around the vast majority of us when it comes to UT knowledge/history and current events. Period. He's a radio talk show host by trade gents, hence the entertainment. If I remember correctly he NAILED the time and date of the COACHING HIRE. Was ON (day or so) the BIG FISH OUT OF NOWHERE. He knows something we don't.Timing can be thrown off by many things. Be patient. It should be noted that the Newberg comment is eerily similar in nature to Doc's Source's prediction. No, doc didn't make anything up, the word came from his source.

I think Doc B is entertaining but he throws out so many "rumors" that he's bound to get some right on occasion.
Let's don't lose sight of the fact that it's entertainment, the purpose of which is to generate talk and publicity for the show. And we are on page 15 of the publicity. Quit taking it so seriously.

And by the way, he is a former car salesman so fudging the truth is a way of life. LOL

I love how fans get their panties all in a wad because these kids 'take in the experience' when it comes to recruiting. Start talking about pulling offers and junk. Seriously, if he signs with UT and becomes a great WR you wont care one bit how he acted while we were recruiting him. So what if he acts like a 17-year old kid during recruiting. That is what they are.

Judt saying only the coaches can make that judgement. Someone on ESPN forums who apparently works in the AD (not positive its true) said that CDD was sending MA an ultimatum about coming in for a visit and meeting with him 1 on 1 or kissing his offer goodbye. Take it with a grain of salt - just passing on some info from another board.
