Chances are pretty good.

If you actually paid attention in the Gruden thread, you’d understand.

Even if Gruden turns us down at the last second which I don’t think he will, our Administration is going to make a Big Hire.

Manning & Fulmer are a big part of the coaching search which is a really good sign.

Nah, Haslam is going to double-down on screwing UT, hire Gruden to coach the Browns.

Mullen is proven to be a middle tier SEC coach.

No. He's easily top 3 coach in the SEC. MSU is Vandy level, what he's done is equal to what Franklin did at Vandy. Could both schools do better, yes. But he's far from middle tier.

Imagine what he could do at a place like UF, UT, Bama, Uga, USC, Osu, UM, etc. Hes also amazing at developing QB's

Actually, the fact that we're STILL pining for Gruden is embarrassing. He's been out of coaching for a decade, has a cush, high-paying job now--and there's not the slightest chance of him taking the UT position.

Regardless of what happens here, ESPN is planning layoffs. So bye bye crush job.

It’s painfully obvious that Some UT fans trash Mullen because they know he’d be a terror at UF for years and UT wouldn’t win many games.

Is it the same people that think gruden takes ut job every time? It's like bob stoops and uf name comes up every time lol Seems like he'd go for NFL job if anything college is so much more work with the recruiting aspect

Plus with the raiders and bucs he never had any young quarterbacks he had old vets like rich gannon and brad johnson

And that’s different than the current situation how???

Well, Florida's last two coaches have beaten us for the most part anyway, but neither one has been a terror. That is why it has been so frustrating that despite them being a mediocre team for the last several years we still can't really beat them.

If Mullen recruited well (which is somewhat of a question mark), he'd have Florida being a consistent national power again and in the playoff conversation year after year. There is no doubt that he's a great Xs and Os guy/talent evaluator/talent developer.

With the resurgence of Miami, UF will have a harder time landing that instate talent they have lived off of.

I get where you’re coming from but it seems no matter how bad Florida is they have an advantage over Tennessee. Last year was great but the damn gators still win the East. We’re jist snake bit

Sports reporter Barrett Sallee mentioned Frost, Mullen, and Campbell as potential coaches for Florida. Sallee said all were an immediate upgrade. Sallee believes Campbell will be Florida's next coach.

I have a friend who's wife is a Florida alumni.....she has a family member(s) who works for the University of Florida, and Mullen is supposedly the guy. Florida believes Mullen can fix their offense. Time will tell......

Being reported that Bob Stoops, Chip Kelly, and Charlie Strong have been approached. Stoops is done coaching.

If they get Chip or Strong, Tennessee is screwed if we hire cheap.
