If this is true, it would be interesting to find out if he sits out a year or goes to a Div. 1 AA school (or whatever they are called now) to play immediately.

Could be a Rick Clausen/LSU transfer pipeline? ha ha just kidding guys.

I heard this guy had some issues last year. I wonder if he is just one of those guys that self destructs.

I've always thought this guy had some serious ego issues...

He came in as one of the top recruits in the 2005 class and immediately says he will be starting and winning 4 Heismans....all this with the future #1 pick already at LSU...

It's a disturbing trend that many have noticed wth all the exposure that now comes with the recruiting process...anyone remember Fred Rouse from FSU?

Perrilioux has always acted like he expects to do whatever he wants...

It would be a waste of serious talent if this kid's ego couldn't get out of his way

There are rumors that many on his team can't stand the guy for the reasons stated above. If your team doesn't respect you how can he lead them on the field!

This guys ego is incredible.

No kidding. Imagine a kid thinking he can miss a team meeting just because his father died. Sheesh.

I think I'll reserve measure until things have had a little time to settle in. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see him back in Baton Rouge for next year, though.

More rumors from another board. Probably no truth to this, but you never know.

Reliable sources confirm that one certain SEC football program has been turned into the SEC office for illegal recruiting of a certain High Profile football recruit and all supporting documentation has been submitted to the SEC office. The information has been submitted to the compliance office at that school by the SEC office.

That certain school has been given an opportunity to take proper actions. Certain members of that School's Board of Trustees have already met in a non formal meeting to address the issue.

It looks like the coach of this school may be shown the door, without his buyout, under the NCAA investigation clause of his contract.

I have left out the name of the school, coach and Board of Trustees to protect the innocent.

I would say the odds are favorable that the coach has coached his last game at that school.

For the record, The University of Alabama is tangently involved, but it is not the only school that provided information to the SEC office. UGA, CUM, Sly and Phil have also provided information. The SEC is giving that school a reasonable period of time to respond.

I think "Voodoo" Tatum from the TV show Friday Night Lights was modeled after Mr. Perrilloux

Can't be us, I don't think we recruited any high profile football recruits...
