I think the Harvard backup QB, (soon to be starter) they have is a good sign of success in academics for a change in Baton Rouge.

His fate will be determined by their spring practices.

If Lee looks like he could start,

Welcome Ryan Perrilloux to Grambling

Rumor has it that he did some badddd things.

Apparently Jarret Lee was going to challenge him for his job next year anyways. However, I have a hard time believing that the way he played us in the SEC Championship game.

Could this be a deciding factor for Terrelle Pryor? I understand LSU has recently been added to his list.....

I think he could be done at LSU. You can bet we have only heard half of the stuff he is rumored to have done. Bottom line will be wether or not they think they can win without him. If they decide they can he's done.

LSU is still on his list according to Rivals. I am not sure how up to date that is.

No.

Pryor admits he was set to sign with Ohio State the day before Feb. 6, but a conversation with his father, Craig, made him think twice. His father wanted him to take another look at Penn State and take an official visit.

But is Pryor doing it to appease his father or is he truly interested in the Nittany Lions?

"I'm really interested," he said. "This isn't just being respectful of my father, this is thinking things through and making sure I have all the info I need before I make a big decision. I really like Coach Bradley at Penn State and they could end up being the right fit for me, I'm not sure."

Has any other school entered the picture?

"No, it's still Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State and Oregon," he said. "That's it."

If Pryor takes an official visit to Penn State, he still may take another unofficial visit.

"I've seen everything at Michigan, but I didn't get to see everything at Ohio State," he said. "I am still in touch with all the Ohio State commitments I've become friends with, but they're being really cool about it, not pressuring me."

And with Ohio State so close to getting his signature and Penn State having his father in its corner, is it safe to say Michigan has dropped behind both?

"No, I can't say that," he said. "I'm considering all four schools and I'm going to pick the place that's right for me. It could be any of them.

More rumors from another board. Probably no truth to this, but you never know.

Reliable sources confirm that one certain SEC football program has been turned into the SEC office for illegal recruiting of a certain High Profile football recruit and all supporting documentation has been submitted to the SEC office. The information has been submitted to the compliance office at that school by the SEC office.

That certain school has been given an opportunity to take proper actions. Certain members of that School's Board of Trustees have already met in a non formal meeting to address the issue.

It looks like the coach of this school may be shown the door, without his buyout, under the NCAA investigation clause of his contract.

I have left out the name of the school, coach and Board of Trustees to protect the innocent.

I would say the odds are favorable that the coach has coached his last game at that school.

For the record, The University of Alabama is tangently involved, but it is not the only school that provided information to the SEC office. UGA, CUM, Sly and Phil have also provided information. The SEC is giving that school a reasonable period of time to respond.

What forum?

Okay, if anybody knows about THIS, I'd like to know more just for the sake of knowing. Sounds like a movie plot to me...

"Earlier in 2007, Perrilloux was named as a 'person of interest' in a federal counterfeiting investigation, but that probe never led to charges." - from Yahoo! news

I think now im fairly certain of the school...i snooped around on a bama board of all places (Lord please forgive me) and found out that it is indeed Auburn...idk if its true but one poster said another school that turned AU in is Clemson....also fairly certain i saw on that same board that Terrelle Pryor was supposed to be taking a visit to Auburn but im going to doubt the validity of that statement

I can't think Terrelle Pryor has anything to do with this, if Croom is one of the coaches who turned them in. Mississippi State was never involved with Pryor at all.

If UAT is turning Auburn in, they'll live to regret it. All their trouble started when they were frustrated by Dye beating them year after year, so they got Eric Ramsey to rat on Auburn. Auburn got even during the Langham mess and the war was on. No one can police all the boosters in an SEC program, and if Alabama turns in Auburn, Auburn will just dig up some dirt and turn them in. Alabama will get worse sanctions because they've been on probation more recently.

I wouldn't know if it's true either, but I'd wager that bama fans would say Auburn cheated even if they knew they didn't.

A little off but the point about not being able to police all school boosters is well made and the problems Bama will face if caught with the hand in the cookie jar again (death penalty).

Ramsey made the recorded tapes of payments when he was a player at auburn. While at Auburn, he wrote a paper about the slave-like conidtions for African Americans (many former African American players spoke against him including Bo Jackson). He was represented and supported by Donald Watkins, an Alabama State supporter and very successful attorney, who was very outspoken and critical of the funding that the two flagship universities rec'd versus the money alloted to Alabama State and other smaller four year programs. The story was broke by the Montgomery-Advisor (hardly friendly to Tuscaloosa or Alabama football).

Auburn was not behind the Langham mess. They offered Gene Jelks money to make allegations of illegal payments under Curry. The allegations were later disproved. Mainly because the NCAA observed Alabama football under his leadership and realized that the man could not coach, recruit, or have the ability to drive himself to 7/11 for a Diet Pepsi much less arrange payments for players. The Langham mess happened when the agent he signed with turned him in coupled with poor internal compliance controls.

As for the rest of the story, Auburn was not behind Albert Means. Bama created that situation all on its own with Dubose, Bockrath, Logan Young, et al. No one to blame but ourselves.

this makes me wonder when these kids with all this talent are going to realize they cant go around breaking the law forever. That they are going to get caught sooner or later and loose these chances that they have.
