ESPN radio just said that Miles has kicked Perrilloux off of the team but I can't find any other source to verify. Anyone know anything else about this?

CBS Sports has it reported too. Short story to sum it up says LSU announces that Miles has basically kicked him off the team for numerous incidents.

True Vol Mania but some players while good on the field can hurt your team. From everything I have read he seems like one of those guys.

oh no doubt. we had one of those on my team when i was playing in college. i was his roommate, and he moved his gf in on me and another guy that we lived with that played ball. our bills went up so we split them 4 ways, ya that didn't go over very well. ended up he got kicked off.

Big question now is what will this do LSU this year?

Wonder where he is gonna go next? My guess is one of the FSU's (Florida State or Fresno State).

Depends on the reason he was dismissed. From everything I heard he thinks the rules don't apply to him. Wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't due in some part to grades, hell look at all the times he has supposedly been in trouble there. Looks like Miles turned a blind eye as long as he could.

No surprise here but I do believe that LSU will be just fine without him maybe even better. The Tigers have no shortage of talent at the QB spot or any other spot for that matter.

But nobody with any real experience at the spot.

QB Perrilloux Dismissed From Football Team
by TigerDroppings.com Staff
BATON ROUGE -- Quarterback Ryan Perrilloux has been dismissed from the LSU football team, head coach Les Miles announced on Friday.

“Ryan was given every opportunity to be a part of this football team,” Miles said. “In the end, he didn’t fulfill his obligation as an LSU student-athlete. We hope that a new beginning will benefit him.

“I wish Ryan and his family nothing but the best in any of his future endeavors.”

Perrilloux is expected to finish out the spring semester at LSU. Miles said he would have no other comment on the matter.

I would put him in the same experience category, little to none.

gotta fully disagree here. Two starts against two SEC West teams and knowing it's your turn to be the man is worlds further along than a guy thrust into the starting role with either no experience whatsoever or throwing 2 passes (completing one) and attempting 4 rushes.

When you compare the two side by side, yes. But as far as the strain of a long football season as a starter there is not a huge difference. Cromptom does have the advantage though.
