. . .I always feel bad when bright promising athletes fail to live up to their potential and get caught up with crime and drugs. It's happening now more than ever! The Vols have had their share of it too. . .Perrilleaux, after being kicked off during spring practice with the promise he'd come back for the fall, failed a drug test and Miles permanently kicked him off the team! When will these kids learn to take advantage of the tremendous opportunity given to them that most don't get! I must be "old school" but it really sucks!! :jpshakehead: :shakehead: :furious3:

Unfortunatly this hurts Tennessee.

LSU plays Florida and Georgia this year. Both of those team's chances of winning just went up.

I don't feel sorry for people that throw away opportunity that most people would love to have. Goodbye and don't let the door hit ya........As far as TN goes, we will beat both Florida and Ga anyway....

Perrilleaux is an idiot. Les Miles is a bigger idiot for taking this long to make it final.

So he can sit behind Ryan Mallet? Speaking of Mallet, I hear Michigan is looking for a QB. Maybe they would like Perrilleaux.

I was speaking more to Bobby Lietrino's penchant for taking in troubled kids with a pretty spotty record.

Not to mention the fact that Ark. and LSU hate each other. it would be a match made in erm...you know.

It is kind of sad that we have come to the point of relying on other teams to beat each other up to further ourselves.

Speaking of which...how do Vol fans view Phil's turning in Alabama for their shady dealings?

Considering that several SEC coaches had sent several warnings to DuBose to "cut it out" most are ok with it. As time passed and further details of Fulmer's actions emerged I am not particularly comfortable with his level of involvement. It had a weasel element to it.
