I stand corrected. The team has sucked for years now, and recruiting appears to be going well.

Concerning the offensive line you actually said,

In reality, I can't argue that this O line is elite in any sense unless it is that they are elite at being overrated. Your original and follow on comment implies they are elite at times.

So, there you go. You are correct. I apologize and will try to better phrase any response I might make should I encounter another post filled with foolery and drivel.

By no mean was I trying to argue that our O Line was exceptional, but every telecast seems to state that they are. If anything I think that they are soft and overrated. Even though the run game has shined every now and then, it is not something I would call a strength.

Thanks for the condescending response to a post filled with foolery and drivel.

The problem is, it isn't any one thing. We have a shortage of talent, the coaches can't seem to coach up what talent we do have, our playcalling has not been stellar, players can't seem to execute the plays that are called, we have four highly-recruited QBs, none of whom can play, our WRs drop almost every pass if the QB can even get it there, and a steady slew of ranked opponents are taking it to us in historic fashion every week. That all adds up to 4-7, and it's tough to find pride in that.

I agree whole heartedly. This season is definitely a growing process, but I feel we aren't really taking advantage of what talent we do have. Even though we are down, I'd like to think that Vandy's current talent is no better than our current talent…yet we have lost the last two. Coaching has to figure into the equation at some point.
