Peterman a sleeper pick?

He never got a fair or fighting chance. A QB doesn't have to have be as Mobil as Dobb's to run the offense successfully. Peterman would have run it just fine just like Dormady would if he won the job. Everyone bases Nate's career at TN off of less than a half of play in his first start and it being at the swamp. A place or team that our most popular QB alumni could beat or win at. Nate was given a bad rap by a small group of fans that most likely knew very little about football as a whole. It's obvious he is a good QB and will get his chance to play on Sundays. I wish him luck and hope he becomes a 15 yr QB Vet and wins lots of games. He is a very easy young man to pull for just like Dobb's is.
I took up for Peterman on the forum when he was enrolled here, and I was treated to all kinds of ridicule from a few posters. At least I know I was right.

He given more than a fair chance here and he failed miserably every single time. I love the fact he got a chance and succeeded somewhere else and I too hope he does well in the NFL. But we all saw the catastrophe that happened everytime he got a start here, it just wasn't meant to be for him here.

Nate was here two years, got plenty of opportunities when the opportunities arose. As Ainge said only yesterday, great kid who looked great in practice but simply couldn't handle the magnitude of playing qb in the SEC. He badly needed a change of scenery, got it and then made the best of a second chance and good on him for being able to do so. Agree 100% that he's a kid about as easy to pull for as Dobbs....hope they both find success in the NFL.

He had one good game. Literally one 300 yard game in his career. I wish him well but he is all hype. Someone will waste a pick.

If he's smart enough he can be a professional clipboard holder for a few years and make some bank. Dont really see ol' Peterman having success at the next level. Crazier things have happened though...
