With roughly 12:30 left in the 4th quarter, Peyton has already passed for SIX touchdowns and 374 yards. The Broncos lead 42-17 and are executing their offense at breakneck pace.

Peyton also tied Favre's career record tonight for the most games with 4 or more TD passes (23). I believe that they said that this is his first performance with five or more touchdown passes since 2004 or 2005.

As good as this is, it's the regular season. You can erase that playoff loss.

This helps ease the pain, though.

The Ravens just scored. Peyton may have a legitimate shot to tie the all-time NFL single-game record of seven touchdown passes.

Can you imagine if Denver doesn't cover the spread after the int fumble in the endzone? Holy crap, that would suck! You go from 49-17 to 42-27....a TD and 2 point conversion and the Broncos....well scratch that!

MAKE IT NUMBER 7!

Yep, 452 yards and SEVEN touchdowns. Peyton becomes the sixth NFL quarterback and first since 1969 to rain seven touchdowns down upon the opposition.

Actually, if that guy had not pulled that boneheaded play, Peyton probably would never have had the opportunity to tie the record.

Well, he is done for the night: 26-41 for 462 yards, SEVEN touchdowns and zero interceptions. Quite a start for the 2013 NFL season.

It's a great performance no doubt, but it's not revenge. The Ravens got a Super Bowl ring, he got a regular season whipping. It doesn't really compare.
