I just wish all of the media would quit picking the Vols. That makes me so nervous about the game cause that may make bama play ticked off that everyone is doubting them

Yes, He lost to Bama once during his freshman yr in 94. TN had a chance to win the game late in 4th qtr. Manning had an open WR but didn’t see him and threw into coverage iirc.

Manning ended the Bama streak in 1995 at Legion Field, and then TN rolled Bama his jr and sr yr- 1996 -1997. Manning torched Bama and owned UGA during his time @ TN.

FL was his kryptonite but TN didn’t have the defensive talent, depth or coaching 97. The D was a yr older and the ball bounced our way Vs FL in 98. Spurrier was just a better coach than Fulmer.

Go Vols and Beat Bama!

Seriously, love Peyton.... dude is quite possibly THE best ambassador for TN football TN has ever had

But isn't it a bit "on the nose"?

The "guest picker" spot oughta be someone that's only peripherally invested in the game but has a bunch of personality. That's what makes it fun if you ask me......

He was actually at the ga state game
Tennessee football: Peyton Manning in attendance for UT Vols vs Georgia State

but he has also at the battle of Bristol and the music city bowl in 2016 when we beat Nebraska. He’s been to a few others over the past decade that we won. He was one of the few vol fans in attendance in Memphis when Pearl’s team beat #1 Memphis. There is no curse. Peyton tends to attend high stakes games that we tend to lose in the past several years. 39-6 as a starter for the vols. Led us to one out of two sec championships we have won in modern sec championship game history. Dominated bama. Great advocate for the vols.

There’s a lot of people saying we won’t win if Bryce young plays. That in itself should piss off TN as they’re basically writing us off
