Peyton threw lots of INTs (merged)

Stunna, you may have ripped me for saying the Titans wouldn't be a playoff contender a little too soon. That effort today was putrid.

The NFL isn't bad, it's just that the lead dog is taking a lot of the suspense out of things. That said, I'll take the Bills and the 14' next Sunday.

All I know is that I can't remember a year in which I was looking forward to basketball more.

Tell me about it. Without Albert Haynesworth clogging up the middle, our run defense becomes significantly weaker . Additionally, if our offense keeps playing like this, Tennessee's playoff aspirations will be nothing but a mirage. The bright side is that we have Denver, Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas City and the New York Jets on our remaining schedule. If Albert comes back next week, I see 3 or 4 potential wins on that list. Our meetings with San Diego and Indianapolis aren't looking very winnable right now.

I don't know how good San Diego is either. I mean, without Sprohles they lose that game. I will be taking the under in the Titans-Bolts game for sure.

San Diego has one of best run defenses in the league. With our offense being one-dimensional, Vince will end up throwing 2 or 3 picks if we're forced into a passing game.

I agree, but San Diego has some obvious problems on offense this year. We'll see, but this game will be close if only because of the lack of scoring.

two things:

1. Hat, you know I enjoy anyone taking shots at Peyton Manning, aka Captain Stats. In fact, I enjoy them immensely. But did you really have to go after Mark the Ripper to prove your point? Cut us Redksins fans some slack!

2. We all know it wasn't Peyton's fault. Between the offensive line not blocking, the receivers running bad routes, and a drunken kicker, Peyton just couldn't run the team by himself.

I didn't really see anyone ever claim Peyton played a good game. He didn't. Neither did any other offensive Colt. Missing 3 of the top 4 receivers makes it tough. Getting those guys back will change things. How good would the Pats be this year if they lose three out of Moss, Welkler, Stallworth, and Watson?

Three things will happen. The Colts will be fine. Peyton will not bang supermodels, as he is married. Archie will continue to attened his sons' games.

Brady's already won three Super Bowls without three of those guys.

hat is exactly right. kpt you're the same one who tried to tell me peyton "made" harrison and company into good receivers. Now you're backtracking. Peyton blew it. I'm not saying anyone on here would blame someone else, I'm saying Peyton would blame someone else. He's done it MANY, MANY, MANY times before.

Bullcrap. I never said Peyton made Marvin Harrison. I have said that both of them improve the other's game. The only receiver that I'd say Peyton really "made" was maybe Brandon Stokely. Peyton blew it. Kicker missing two makeable field goals didn't help, but getting in the endzone more would have made up for that. The special teams play didn't help either. Regardless, if you saw the postgame interview Peyton said the team played pretty well, but you can't expect to win with six turnovers.
