Peyton visiting with Broncos Tonight!

so somebody gets a playoff win over the #1 D their first full yr and they should be done in the league? thats is idiotic

matt ryan should be done very soon then cuz that fool cant get his first playoff win to save his life with a MUCH better team

He made one accurate throw out of 250 and that makes him great?

Even if Peyton does go to Denver Tebow could still be playing some where. You can't honestly say you would rather have Tebow over Peyton.

no not at all i said somebody should take a chance on him based off what i said last post

imo a winning record and playoff win your first yr automatically means you deserve to keep playing a couple games for somebody the following yr

i said somebody might trade for him and bring tebowmania to their stadium

I can about guarantee someone will trade for him if Peyton ends up in Denver. Though they may want to keep him because until Peyton gets out there no one will really know if he can play or not.

he had a winning record and a playoff win his first yr

and i think he earned a chance to play some games next yr and im the one with a screw lose? wow if this was your guy you would see how idiotic that sounds

i guess volnation just HATES tebow

You're right. He did a decent job. He'll never be Peyton Manning, though.

absolutely no debate there lol

i never was comparing him to manning just saying kid earned a chance to play qb in the nfl a couple more games atleast

its not like denver had alot of offensive weapons actually give him some and another training season under his belt who knows

mcgahee is a journeymen rb the wr's were pretty bad by league standard

Debate was not about getting in the HOF; it was about the better QB. I agree Eli will be a HOFer.

Actually it is a really difficult question.. Sure Peyton has a bunch of records, but as I stated in my other post, the only one that really matters is winning the last game of the year. Eli wins football games.. period.

Although he is not really in the mix in this particular discussion, Tebow is similar. The man wins. I'd love the guy if he didn't have that defective lizard DNA..

But back on point, Given enough time and money, I probably WOULD rather have Peyton, but I certainly wouldn't turn Eli away.. I think he can win in a "normal" situation whereas Peyton seems to need complete control.

Any chance the Titans really have a shot at him?

All kidding aside, I like him alot. He's a good guy, and he makes everybody else around him better. And anybody that makes the douchebag Bill Maher uncomfortable is awesome in my book

RT @jnsanchez: Sources say that, if Denver lands Peyton Manning, they will part ways with their first-round pick for Mike Wallace.

That would make Denver a whole lot more attractive, and they'd need to get a real TE, too. D Clark, maybe?

I'm still hoping Titans, but this would make Denver more appealing.

My guess is they would bring Clark in also. The addition of Wallace would even out the advantage the Titans have on offense over Denver

The line still allowed fewer sacks on more passing attempts and have Chris Johnson though.

Who knows what the Broncos running game will look like in a real offense. Travis Henry was pretty good in their weird option system but I'm not sure I view him as a legit running back in a normal system.

Didn't they lead the league in rushing?

Travis Henry?

Yeah, I like Titans offense better still. I think they have the better running game with Johnson and the revamped line. Broncos didn't do so well running out of pro-formations last year.

Willis McGhee. Idk why I said Travis Henry.

Yeah, they did lead league in the rushing. When Tebow was a running threat and decided if he or the runningback had the bigger hole prior to handing it off or keeping it himself. Not like Peyton manning is going to do that because Peyton Manning can't run. The Broncos being number one in rushing with Tebow/McGhee in an option offense doesn't mean they'll be able to run with Peyton Manning handing the ball off to Willis. Different formations and blocking schemes.

Couldn't the opposite argument be made? If the Broncos had Peyton, defenses would have to respect the pass more and could not load up against the run and therefore give their backs better opportunities?

Agreed. Even if Peyton can't go deep, just being able to hit guys perfectly on quick routes and having to respect his passing game will force teams to stop stacking the box. They constantly stack the box but they just won't be able to do that with Peyton if he's good to go.

Yes but you don't just change systems overnight and Willis McGhee isn't near the threat Chris Johnson is. Titans don't have to change a lot to their offense that everyone played under. The receivers can have the same routes, the line can block the same. Everyone on the Broncos offense will have to play differently than they did last year.

They did not play under that system while Orton was at QB, just when Tebow took over, so they just go back to original style.

RT @chroniclesports: Elway, Fox, Manning and Co are leaving now. Manning did not throw a pass today. Odd development
