Agree! I'm 29 years old and have been watching Peyton from his first snap in college. For me I was 10 years old when he was a freshman. That was really when I started to develop and take in more of the game. I remember some of Heath and vaguely Andy but Peyton I remember it all from day one! Its been a blessing to follow and watch one player for two decades. IMO I think he is the ultimate professional athlete. He studies the game like no other, respects the game, respects the former players who paved the way before him, true leader, winner, class act on and off the field, says all the right things, etc.
I don't miss a game of his nor have I ever. Its like an art how he dissects defenses. The Manning's are first class. Archie & Olivia have done an outstanding job raising their boys. Peyton Manning is my favorite player cause of everything I stated and the first player I really remember the most out of all the others before him in my time. Glad he's a VFL! Go Vols!!!
I am also 29 and I think it was cool reliving some of peyton s greatest moments. The Alabama game his sophomore year sticks out in my mind. I remember how excited my dad was when Peyton and company blew them out. Only now do I truly see the relevance of this game with Alabama beating us multiple years in a row again. I now understand the hatred for all thing Alabama . I can't wait until the tables turn and we are beating the tide with regularity again. Butch please ...
