Phil Fulmer has contacted some assistant coaches including Kevin Steele and Philip Montgomery. Not sure for where he is assembling a staff together but seems like he is headed somewhere. Interesting because it is right before NY Hall of Fame which is like summit to hire coaches !! Not that I am for or against it but do you guys think he ends up at Auburn or Arky ? How about TN ?

I am not suggesting to bring him back to UT but he seems like he is geared to go somewhere..not sure where ? with SEC openings Auburn might be a good possibility..

He's been geared up for 5 years ... no one has seen fit to drop his clutch ... sort of embarrassing for him & us.

Knowing our luck he'd replace strong at Louisville and win a NC next year...

Nobody in the SEC is going to touch Fulmer, outside of UK, and they didn't. Everyone saw his decline.

But....one job I could see him taking is Louisville if they offered him. If it came open of course. Just a thought.

That's another one. UNC or Louisville are lateral jobs. Both are gonna be ACC teams next year.

If Strong/Fedora, Fisher relocated....the ACC would be WEAK next year. Fulmer would look pretty good if he could step in and win. It wouldn't be that difficult in that conference.

I really think Fulmer has some good years left in him. But if he's going to win, he's going to have to start at a slightly smaller job than a SEC team. Louisville and North Carolina fit the bill. Colorado would be too small. And Fulmer would get ate alive in the Pac-10 with their crazy offenses. Just don't see that happening.

Grow up man. So immature

For real. I mean, yes, Fulmer got lazy and the game passed him by at UT. But give some respect to a man about to be inducted to the Hall of Fame, and to the man who got us our most recent National Championship.

If I knew that he would step in today and bring us back to even a 10th of what we used to be, I'd be all for him.

Like I said, he's got some good years left in him, but not in the SEC.
