Yes, which is why he recruited the true PG Kemp from Bolivar. You can either believe what is said or believe what is done. Me? Action, louder, words.

Ummm, didn't he recruit Johnson too? Or did he commit to UTK without a scholly offer or any recruitment from Pearl? Dude, OF COURSE HE RECRUITED KEMP! If UTK had the #1 freshman PG in the country he STILL WOULD HAVE RECRUITED KEMP. Kemp's recruitment has nothing to do with Johnson's lack of PG abilities. Geez louise!

Pitino's system is very similar. I'm not saying Pearl is wrong, it's just interesting that most of the elite programs that recruited Johnson don't see him as a point.
