Phil Steele prediction?

If we can go to Norman and not be phased, then we can do the same in Athens. I've never in my life seen a UT game that came down to a bs fumble call and just a couple of boneheaded play calls from being in a game until the end when you figure in a score like that. Usually scores like we seen against Oklahoma would've been a total domination, take the Oregon games for example. I can guarantee Bajakian would've loved to have that 3rd and 2 playcall back. Even if we didn't get the TD, we would've been down only 14 with close to 10 minutes left as we wouldve had a chip shot fg. We had all the momentum in the second half to at least make it a game up until that point.

I hear what your saying, man. I just dont think last year's UGA game can be used as a reference as to how this year's game is going to go. Also, nothing about the Oregon game was even close. We got dominated and our offense sucked on nearly every possession. 3 and out over and over again and Oregon scored on almost every possession they had until they let off the gas and put the backups in, which was pretty early.

That's what I was saying about Oregon. Those games were nothing like what we seen from team 118 in Norman. My point to this whole thing is Oklahoma is a better team than UGA and are likely playoff bound. If we can go in to Norman and play that many freshman for their first road test and hang around, we can certainly do the same in Athens against a team that's not on Oklahoma's level.

Absolutely. I predicted in my post below that we would "hang around". But my main complaint is that "hanging around" is not the same as winning. And people are criticizing critics because they predict a lopsided game. But Vols fans should not be focused on making it close. They should be focussed on winning. People sound like idiots arguing whether the game will be a close loss or a blowout loss. Either way its a loss. At the end of the day if the Vols lose the "experts" win.

I predicted a win. I think we go in and shock the nation. There's a lot at stake here considering we're 1st in the East lol.
