I laughed pretty hard about the Orta hit on the punter. Dude just got his punt blocked locates the ball and then starts running toward it and BOOOOOOM! Welcome to the big leagues!

i have not seen such a spontaneous emotional explosion in Neyland since Wilhoit hit the winning FG against UF in 2004.

i was jumping up and down and screaming "f*** yes" "f*** yes" "f*** yes" but no one could hear me because they were all screaming, too.

They gonna kill coach! I love CBJ and the way he celebrates with his players. He doesn't put himself on a pedestal like other coaches.

Man that is a awesome pic of Butch and his players. You can really tell that the players love to play hard for Butch

The team was pretty happy at the start of the 4th in 2009 when we were punking uga. But it's good to see...definitely nothing like this in the Dooley era...although Dools THOUGHT the Vandy 2011 win was this good. :eek:lol:

The crazy thing was it wasn't one of those typical post-punt block or post-INT plays where the blocker cracked back against the punter/QB who was running and looking toward the ball carrier in another area of the field. This guy was running straight at our guy, almost as if he expected him to get out of the way or something, and our guy just stood there waiting and then popped him when he got there. I guess that's what happens when you spend all your time kicking and not blocking or tackling. :blink:

Our special teams have performed better this year than in several yrs. past. JMR is doing fantastic..would love to see get some playing time on D.

I went crazy after the blocked punt...pretty sure my downstairs neighbor thought something was wrong haha
