He got his ass lit up!!!
That was my favorite play and favorite hit of the game, the dawg punter got laid out ...bomb hit his axx action stretched out .... reportedly a concussion, not big on celebrating that BUT that hit left him on the sidelines rubbing that jaw! lol:)

Yeah, that was serious. Had that been in view of regs, we would have a suspended player next week. Exactly what the rule was for.

Maybe. Maybe not. I thought it might have been cheap live, but then watched the replays. The punter was not running 2 yards deep in the end zone but was right along the goal line. I thought he hit him in the upper chest not head. It was more a whip lash reaction than from a direct hit. He was just laid out.

What's the over/under on games before one of the players or coaches is injured celebrating jumping up and into each other? Their enthusiasm is contagious and reflects to me the unity of this year's team but I wince a little every time they jump into one another like that.

the jumping up to celebrate like that is dangerous just ask the georgia player that did it and is out for the season because of it, you think the kids would take note.

The team was pretty happy at the start of the 4th in 2009 when we were punking uga. But it's good to see...definitely nothing like this in the Dooley era...although Dools THOUGHT the Vandy 2011 win was this good. :eek:lol:

Soooo dooley is getting bashed for not getting excited with the players in this thread really?? So the Vandy game wasn't good enough as a win as the uga loss?? Really?? The video wasn't even suppose to be released so that's not staged speech or anything.

People around here never stop amazing me.

For the record I hate seeing coaches jumping around chest bumping players. Chaney use to do it and drove me nuts. There are different ways to celebrate and keep that line of respect. Also, there have been to many injuries from doing that (UGA recent example), so I can only imagine this bi-polar bunch turning on the coaches if one of our players gets hurt because of it.

I laughed pretty hard about the Orta hit on the punter. Dude just got his punt blocked locates the ball and then starts running toward it and BOOOOOOM! Welcome to the big leagues!

He just got concussed!!
