Hat, what's La Costa? Nama is one of my favorite spots in town.
It's directly across Market Square from Preservation Pub. It was Tijuana Taco Company, or something like that, for a few months. Greg took it over and has been open for a few months.

I still have my condo downtown, so I spend a lot of time at the Downtown Grill and Brewery. The bars on Market Square are doing alright. You can't go wrong stopping in at Chesapeake's either. Greg White's places, Nama and La Costa, are top notch as well.

Greg is a great guy and I consider him a friend of mine. I don't know if he would know me by name, but I was in the Pub a lot when he managed it. If Greg is involved, I know it's good.

Ah, the good old days. When Preservation Pub had the best looking bartenders this side of Vegas or LA. When Tonya, Jessie, Cassandra, etc. left, the place was just never the same to me.

Thanks. I found a review online from the KNS Grub Scout. I'll have to give it a whirl.

My thought on a Cal game gathering: Friday night- Tour of the downtown establishments. Saturday- Campus tailgate site to be determined.

The beautiful brunette was one of the reasons I went there. I think that was Cassandra?

Jessie was the blonde who worked at the aquarium for a while.

You're thinking about either Tonya or Leslie. Leslie and Jill, another of the Pres Pub Beauties, were in the group that went with me to the UT-Miami game in '03.

You lucky bastard. I guess it is possible that our paths crossed at some point during that period. Did you live in Knoxville then?

I think I remember Tanya doing some print ads. She and Jessie were roomates. I always wanted to try a modern twist on "Three's Company."
