Ok, I don't have 100 posts yet so I am putting this here. The game winning play, in my truly professional opinion, was the simple flare route (bubble, whatever you want to call it) that the Georgia RB ran when we had them at mid field, 3rd down, with about 2 minutes left in regulation. The dang thing went for about 35 yards.
My beef is this: The wide out simply ran a slant or cross, the RB ran out that way, to the space that was then left empty. Every high school team in the state runs that freakin play, ok. WHO WAS SUPPOSE TO COVER THAT RB! I mean, that is what we are seeing this year...again. The simplest little crossing route and we end up with an uncovered receiver.
Could one of you technogeniouses put a link to that play on here so that us football gurus can discuss this.
