Fun fact: The conference originally wanted to start the Razorbacks and Missouri playing each other this season; complications making the overall schedule work caused them to postpone it to next season.
Not a blown coverage imho, great call by Cam, Les even said that Cam was saying that he thought they could burn them on that... it was being setup all game with Landry. Arkansas had to still contest as all LSU needed was 20 yards for a FG to tie.
The CB bit on the double move, the Safety bit on Landry on the 10 yard out from the slot by moving up a step. Jennings knew exactly where he was going, he threw the it almost as soon as he got it.
Why did the Safety bite? Well, if you look at Jennings he is not cocking back like he is going to throw it deep... Landry is at similar angle.... I mean you can tell the Safety is just stunned. The ball traveled about 50 yards yet it looks like Jennings is just lofting it up casually.
This is an instance where a backup QB had an advantage... the other team has never seen him throw.
Landry came up with the play call, one of the best calls ever.
"Receiver Jarvis Landry begged and pleaded his coaches to run Tsunami."
"Throughout the game, Landry saw the cornerback bite on his short routes. He kept telling receivers coach Adam Henry to dust off Tsunami, and that Dural would be open."
