He’s part of the SEC Community and part of the college football community. Many of the UT kids knew him. They were recruited by him. You may not have known him but many people associated with UT knew him including our coach. Again your life must suck if honoring Leach with a sticker bothers you.
Because its a game asshat...Leach was a respected coach and mentor to young men...Always amazes me that there is always that one jerk who wants to draw attention to himself because he has no friends...Yep, Talking about you bud.Honor him all you want, but imo football helmets are not meant for pandering to every belief or cause. I mean, why no Ukraine stickers? That's still a thing.
Question though. What if Dan Mullen suddenly passed away??
I don't disagree at all about Leach's contributions. I just think helmets should be a bit more sacred territory to only one cause, that being UT.

Coach Leach was Josh Heupel's offensive coordinator at Oklahoma. I'm quite sure coach Heupel gets a lot of offense philosophy and concepts from Coach Leach. RIP coach and may God bless your family and friends. What a tragic loss.
He played a small part in us having Number 1 Offense in CFB this season. Huep was coached by him and their are a lot of his concepts in Josh's playbook. The man played a huge role in the evolution of CFB offensesWhy? None of us knew him. How about you ask the kids if they knew him. Not every loss in the world needs memorialized. Just remember fondly and move on. Birth and death is the one thing all of us have in common.
Nothing disrespectful about it. I do admit it sounds that way though. Definitely a loss but not from a part of the vfl family.
This is a completely ridiculous take.Honor him all you want, but imo football helmets are not meant for pandering to every belief or cause. I mean, why no Ukraine stickers? That's still a thing.

My friends, hear me out, because this is apparently difficult for some of you. Mike Leach was a pioneer for the offense of two dozen plus current FBS coaches and coordinators. We appreciate what Heupel took from him, but there are countless reverberations throughout the football world, from the NFL to peewee. All of this hate needs to stop, and let’s recognize the man. Good grief.still had to endure 3 miserable seasons of Beldar Cornbread though
Mike Leach says Texas Tech 'cheated' him out of money, will fight school in court 'forever'TTU still never paid the money they owed CML.
