PizzaGate

I'm fairly sure the people who believe the Pizza Gate story here don't feel as though they are lying. I'm not sure whether there is a pizza-gate pedophilia ring in DC. I'm not in here furthering it, just calling you out for selective indignation.

I'm not sure it's been "debunked", as every one of your links have misused that word. "Debunked" means "proven false". All they've really done is claim it's not true and give reasons why one shouldn't believe it, much like the pizza theorists here have done--claimed they believe it to be true and given reasons you should agree with them.

So, it hasn't been proven true, and they discuss their opinions on it. It hasn't been proven false, and your sources discuss their opinions on it. If anyone is lying about it, it's on their head; not mine. And I support their freedom to lie, opine, accuse...with their face in it or not. They'll stand before God on it; not me.

Is that OK with you? Should I upload a Polaroid of my firstborn before typing all that out? Give you a credit card #? My personal address

Anyway, I suspect my view of the ten commandments is safe, but I appreciate your concerns.

Now, save a lack of any credible defense of your selective indignation per anonymous accusations, it looks like attempting to faith-shame me is the best you've got?
This is where we obviously disagree. It is wrong to characterize the links to articles in Wikipedia which discuss the matter as only being that of "opinions". Facts are cited, which do indeed, discredit the allegations.

You know the funny thing about disagreeing? It's cool if we do, and we both have the right to do so.

And people in here are citing facts as well, but my main point is that the pizza-hatters in here seem to believe the things they're posting. There is a difference between being wrong and lying, per the Ten Commandments.

Further, to believe they should have the right to free discourse--even if they lie--isn't the same as me lying, any more than my views on homosexuality make me guilty of sodomy (i.e.that it is a sin but shouldn't be illegal in America). Correct?

Your attempted faith-shaming, although a despicable attempt to squash discussion that was critical of you, would have been comic if not so sad.

I agree. It’s a disgusting hit job. Based on a lie that “pizza” and “toppings” are some law enforcement known code words for pedos.
That's really where this debate will hinge. Wikileaks leaked supposed FBI documents that had the symbols and slang for pedos. If you believe that was true (and last I'd heard, WL had never been shown to lie or be wrong), then the pizzagate theory looks true. If you don't, then pizzagate looks like Alex Jones on psychedelia.

It's never been proven. It's never been disproven.

I personally err on the side of innocent until proven guilty, so I take all of this with a grain of salt until a bombshell hits.

I don’t think anyone disputes the emails. They dispute the interpretation.

As i posted earlier - 5 minutes of research dismisses the "no basement" as an all-too-easy explanation / debunking without significance.

A closer look at storied San Marzanos

Look at the map for locations of Comet Ping Pong (no basement) and his other restaurant Buck's Fishing & Camping (basement).

Tell all this to your co-conspirators in this thread who keep saying there is a basement at Comet, where all the action was supposed to have taken place.

You need to talk to your pastor about all of this. I'm sure your wife would love to know what kind of crap you are wasting time on instead of paying attention to her.

Are you assuming my gender that I decided to be today??

Anybody can fill in wikipedia.
Of course, but there are links provided at the end of the bullet points, to legitimate news sources (such as The Washington Post and The New York Times), that have documented how and why various accusations made by (usually anonymous) individuals promoting the theory of "PizzaGate" are a crock.

Newsflash, this isn't 1990. Those news sources are not legitimate this day and time.

Why? Just because you say so? Per WorldAtlas.com: The New York Times (#2 with 2,101,611 subscribers) and The Washington Post (#7 with 356,768 subscribers) are two of the seven largest daily newspapers in the United States per circulation. The strength of their circulation carries more weight than your personal opinion of them does. Just because Donald Trump likes to say that The New York Times is "failing" does not make it true. They are thriving and that's not because they aren't considered "legitimate" by the public at large.

In today's era of fake news, conspiracy theorists are more emboldened than ever to openly denounce stories from legitimate news organizations in favor of whatever loony blog or twitter account that conforms to their own beliefs the most.

Sadly mainstream news brought this on themselves with instances of shoddy reporting, but that doesn't make 4chan a better alternative.

This is mostly accurate, except that legitimate journalists have always made mistakes. Even Edward R. Murrow had to retract a story. The difference is that a legitimate journalist doesn't seek to fabricate stories the way the conspiracy loons do. Just as is the case with Donald Trump himself, the true measure of legitimacy of news sources for a person that is of a mind to believe in stories such as "PizzaGate", is whether or not that source is reporting content that supports what the conspiracy theorist wishes to believe. In the past, Donald Trump has praised Alex Jones and "InfoWars" for being credible, and he also once famously suggested that "The National Enquirer" should win a Pulitzer Prize. It's all just because they are both allies of his, and they write stories that are either favorable to him or stories that he just wants to believe in.

Maybe they will wish for death in jail but a bullet to the head would be less expensive.

I used to think death was right, but, a life time in jail and torture and punishment is more fitting. Yet, they are segregated and probably in their cell 23 hours a day, and I'm sure some guards have no issue with allowing "visits" from other prisoners, but, is it enough punishment........

Maybe best to just put them down, cost of a bullet vs. lifetime in jail.

Yeah, go ahead with the rope and hang them, saved cost of a bullet.
