Anyone know of any really nice places to propose? I'm thinking something more outdoors like but I'm open to anything. I don't care to pay for a set up or something like that. Any ideas guys?

Thanks for all the replies everyone... Nobody said she feels like she needs some extravagant proposal I just like to do things big some times. It's a once and a lifetime (hopefully) thing and I want it to be special, and DIFFERENT.... My first idea was to take a heli ride over Neyland, and have Will you marry me? Spelled on the field with little plates or something. Can't get in touch with anyone I can beg to make that happen so on to the next idea..

Perhaps you can find someone to paint the rock.

Find some starving musicians to show up and play a song or two when you do it.

If I were you, I'd message Skasper6. He was looking to split some costs on an Outback trip. He could possibly be in the market to divvy up a marriage proposal trip or setting. You might strike group discount gold.

As was mentioned earlier it would depend on her / your interests. You don't need to go overboard and overthink the setting.

A nice intimate setting along a beautiful lake, a mountain top, etc.
Make sure it's just you and her, no friends , no family no one recording the "moment" !

Have a bottle of wine and glasses to celebrate the occasion.

As an added touch, ask her dad for his daughters hand in marriage before you pop the question. Ole fashioned, yes but these are moments she will cherish.
