Players missing spring practice due to injuries (Jenkins, Saulsberry, Branisel)

Jenkins has already been recruited over. Hate it for him. Maybe he can get healthy enough for some special teams action this fall.

What classless remark!

It is obvious that there are a bunch of family and friends of players on this board...especially of the incoming class this year.

Remarks like this, putting them as starting on depth charts, etc.

Regardless of what you morons put on this site, the coaches are going to play the kids who perform the best in practice this fall.

Geeeze!:salute:

How. The starters are all but certain are Pearson north and Malone. Who is the slot going to be.... if I had to guess I'll say Evan berry imo

You think he is going to start in the slot over Pig and Johnson? I think the starting three WRs will be North and Pearson on the outside and Pig in the slot.

I. Was super excited to get Jenkins but now I do believe he should transfer. He likely won't see the field here

Dude was a true fresh this year and was set back by injury. Is this a joke or something? Good lord! Robert Meacham, gearald Jones, and do Moore all dealt with injuries early that limited them. All went in to be great contributers for us. You shouldn't be making these absurd comments. It makes all of us look bad

I wonder if anyone has specifics on these injuries and how they project to recover.
I don't even know what Saulsberry suffered, but that was fairly early in the year. Did he have surgery.

Who has had surgery, and who is due to have surgery?

I think Jenkins is a good player but I just don't see him starting at WRU. we get four stars every year now.he will be 1 and a half years behind Of last years class imo

Long ways to go man. Some kids peak at 17. Others don't come into their own till 22. Zac Rogers is a great example of a kid that took some time to adjust, but ended up being a really solid player for us.
I'll tell you someone I'm dissapointed in is Brian Bowles. Hes been here longer than Jenkins and to the best of my knowledge hasn't really been held back by injuries or anything. I think whats so dissapointing with him is all the hype he had coming in. He was an Espn top 150.

No, I did not intend to gripe at anyone. But then I read that and some other things. It became obvious that there is a certain percentage of the posters, probably about 50 percent, that obviously have a dog in the hunt.

Your remark makes it highly likely that you are one of those people.

But hey, just chill. It's ok to push and promote your boy. That's what Dads are suppose to do.:)

Butch wants depth at WR and a lot of guys will play - that means 2 deep, 3 deep WRs will get their chances. See Cody Blanc 2013.

Jenkins has 4 years of eligibility left and was a late flip by Butch from Clemson. Wouldn't have taken him if he wasn't worth a scholarship.

Ryan will contribute IMO. I also think writing off a RS Freshman before he has played his first game is ridiculous.

I'll bet both berrys will play on defense.

In the slot you have Pig Howard Devrin Young Ryan Jenkins Cody Blanc than Vic Wharton.

Pig is the obvious starter, Young has hands. Blanc is for depth and Vic is a true freshman. Ryan will see the field once healthy.
