He is 3rd string. He isn't as good as Worley. Worley was coming on strong til he got hurt. I think we can win but understand it's not the same VOLS team that played uga and usce. Huge game OP. As crazy as this sounds, this could be a cross roads of sorts for CBJ and staff. Win the next two, go to a bowl, and I think most if not all are behind this staff especially with the recruiting class. But, lose one of these, or God help us both, and the rumblings will begin.

Yep, you are correct. Dooley's crossroad game of sorts was the Kentucky game.

Coming in to this season, we knew we had to beat the 5 teams that we would be favored to win and also pull off an upset in order to go to a bowl game.

This would be a huge success if we have a big recruiting class, make it to a bowl game and win that bowl game.

It would be even bigger for us to get to Memphis or Nashville for the bowl game for fan support.....

A win vs Vanderbilt is in no way a signature win. You cant claim a signature win vs a team that is an historical and perennial loser save the last 2 years. A signature win only comes vs a top ranked team, especially if that team is a traditional power. It's heightened if said top ranked team is a rival. Vandy doesn't now, nor will it ever meet any of that criteria.

If Beating Vandy gets us to a Bowl for the first time in years, than regardless of who Vandy is and their history, this will be friggin' HUGE HUGE HUGE in the turnaround of the Vols. Let's not forget how horrible the Cocks were for so many decades. Go Vols - two wins is all we ask for for Christmas!

We don't disagree that tonight's win vs Vandy would huge. For now it's the biggest game of the year given all that's riding on it.
