Possible. Could be like the championship game where OSU returned the opening kick for a TD and then UF boat raced them. UGA is so good but LSU showed a gunslinger can hit stuff on them.
I think so as well. That is the scenario that would have led to TCU dropping to 4th IMO. I don't believe for a second that avoiding a Mich/OSU rematch in the 1st round was intentional by the committee which is concerning to me. I say if the system is to be honored, you can't manipulate the results. Honestly, I think the old BCS formula with the polls, computer rankings, etc was more honest because the computer generated the rankings based on the data. Humans didn't tweak it to find the matchup they wanted.I don't think they would have dropped unless Michigan won and Georgia lost then it would have been Michigan 1, Georgia 2.
The only way Georgia loses is if Stetson Bennett gets confused and thinks Ohio State is like Kentucky or Missouri. I've never seen a QB be so mediocre against average teams and then turn it on against the best competition. It's infuriating.
Of course they did. Its called SEC fatigue. Make UGA beat, not the best team, but the two top teams in the B1G. Bring it.TCU not dropping at least to the 4th spot proves to me that the committee manipulated the rankings to produce the matchups they wanted. How can TCU lose to a lower ranked team and not drop at all? Clearly the committee wanted to avoid an OSU/Michigan matchup. The chairman claiming it wasn't even discussed is absolute BS.
