Just don't forget to show up in the cold like we did against KState like 30 years ago
We booked a shuttle bus to the Cotton Bowl and the bus couldn't get up about a 3 foot rise to the bus stop. We all had to walk down to the street to board it. But sitting in our hotel and watching cars wipeout all New Year's Eve on an interstate flyover was entertaining

If temps in the high 20s and little wind is what beats the Vols... they shouldn't have been there to start with. That is not likely cold enough to freeze the field. That's the one thing that could be a real concern because of footing.

Need to bring the long cleats 😁

The weather part is way overblown. Columbus is slightly colder than Knoxville and gets a little more snow overall. But it isn’t some drastic difference especially in December. I mentioned a few days ago it would be funny if it’s 28 and clear with light wind in Columbus and snow and 30 with 15mph wind out of north in Knoxville with winter storm warnings.😆
Last time I was in Cincinnati this was exactly the weather pattern.

What Heuple said,

"Not sure what the temperature will be up there at night,” Josh Heupel said. “I know it won’t be sunny and 85 [degrees]. We played in 30-degree weather a week ago.”

“For us, a lot of our practices are in the morning. We’re outside,” Heupel said. “It’ll be similar temperatures to what you’re going to get up there. Our guys got to be able to handle anything that comes at them. That’s weather. It’s outside distractions. It’s us getting ready to go be our best 11 on 11 between the white lines, and we’ll be ready to handle that and operate at a high level.”
Knute or George? That quote just seems destined as a classic.
