Before anyone does the research, yes Joe Barton did go to aTm, and yes I still disagree with him. Thus proving, I dont blindly agree with everything that comes out of a republicans mouth.

He'll be getting a strongly worded letter of disapproval from my office.

Which Im sure he'll promptly throw away, but atleast I said my piece, right?

Yeah this is ludicrous, but it shows the incompetence of politicians. Football is the hot sport so now they are taking to their constituents the "I am trying to save college football" argument for re-election. However since last November I have become quite apathetic about politics anyways. Nothing left to look forward to but a lower standard of living.

The only group that can possibly make the BCS worse than it is now are the people running our federal government right now. Using their economic reason (or lack thereof), they're probably going to put a cap on how much money coaches get paid, how nice facilities can be, how many four/five star recruits a team can have, etc. Then they will make it flag football to protect the players from themselves. Then they will use our tax money to build nice facilities at the lower tier programs to make everything "fair."

So true is Reagan's famous line about the scariest words in the English language being "We're from the government, and we're here to help."
