Just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything…

This was in the email sent before the season:

  • REQUEST PROCESS: Season ticket holders will have an exclusive window to submit their ticket requests (for their current seats) for the CFP game at Neyland Stadium. The request period will run after Tennessee becomes bowl eligible through the Monday (December 9)after the CFP announcement. Please watch your email during the season for the specific dates and instructions.
They sent an email today

My guess for lowers face value 250-300 from university then resell for 1,000 a ticket on stubhub and ticketmaster.
Definitely. And to top it off, hotel rates will be insane X 1000. If you own a cabin to rent, this may be the greatest weekend of your life.

They won’t be that high at face value. I’m guessing $100-$250. Tickets to the CFP bowl games, including the semifinals, are only $155-$330 face.

Championship game tickets, on the other hand, range from $463-$1,540 at face.

I agree that Secondary prices will be through the roof for a game at Neyland.

Will trade a really good solid 1 year old child for two lower deck tickets. Seems advanced with good features, good teeth and blond hair. Serious offers only.

So you want me to give you 2 tickets to the first playoff game in Neyland and then spend $250k, feeding, housing and educating that kid for the next 20 years.

I will pass.

Hopefully under300... How did you find that information?
I won't speak for Dadof2Vols but I've seen the same $100 to $250 per ticket excluding premium seating in multiple places. I'm copying a portion of a NY Times article released Nov 1 on just the ticket pricing. I also saw Penn State releasing the $100 to $250 range on their release to season ticket holders.

"Prices were originally set to be equal to the highest-priced home game from the previous two years, but after questions about donations and seat licenses, the CFP has set a flat set of ticket prices for every site. Tickets will cost between $100 and $250 for general seating, not including clubs and suites. (The CFP will retain all ticket revenue and redistribute to the conferences.)"

I will be there!

I will sell my other ticket if my son gets a student ticket and if my wife elects not to go to game.

If I had to guess, face value will be around $300 or $350.
I’m sure you will want a Vol next to you. Maybe an ALLVOL4LIFE?

Thanks I found that. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5920050/2024/11/13/penn-state-college-football-playoff-host/.
I just hope that ticketmaster don't get their hands in cookie jar with their gready fees. I have been a donor for years and last few years has gotten out of hand with their fees.
