You're mixing together Walker and Powell. Walker played 3 years at CMU and 2 years for Tennessee, so she's done. Powell played 3 years at MN and 1 year at Tennessee, so she has 1 year remaining as a grad student. But yeah, Powell is small and isn't an efficient scorer/decision maker. She likes trying her luck driving into the paint amongst the trees, and it usually doesn't end well.

Ahhh...that answers that. Thank you for clearing it up. I was very confused.

Ok. Well, Powell is a starting point. I forgot to mention that Jessie is gone. Might think Edie will go someplace where she can start. Unsure on that?

With Powell back, still thinking Miles or Wynn will find greener pastures.

We appear to have room for six girls who are in the 6'8" to 6'11" range. Plus, a couple of guards.

Hope Kellie searches Europe, Africia, Asia, South America, Canada, Carribean, portal, for extreme height.

i dont want anymore size - if you look at the teams left in the final four only two starters are over 6'4 and that's Boston and Kitley.

WE NEED SPEED AND LATERAL QUICKNESS - and high basketball IQ. The reason these teams are in the final four is that they have those two things (or aaliyah boston or caitlin clark). Did you all watch the game between ohio state and VT. Those teams played so fast, Amoore buzzed all over that court. We need that type of game play. The days of half-court sets are slowly waning and I don't think we should be trending toward that unless we get highly mobile post players who can handle the ball a la Angel Reese.

Indiana lost to a speedy Miami team because Holmes, Garzon, and Parrish couldn't keep up. Same with Stanford and Ole Miss.

I wish we could get 3 Cotie McMahon type players so badly.

1. Powell will be good coming off the bench we need a dominate pg to setup offense, get to the basket and plays stifling defense on the opp.

She is turnover prone which causes lapses in the offense.

2. Asking for a athletic big that can score is equivalent to asking for a 3pt specialist that is quick and athletic, we supposedly have 3pt shooters that are not agile which makes you a liability on defense.

3. We have to recruit better

Powell is not turnover prone. She had a 2.0 AT/O ratio which is generally good.

I must admit.....that is an interesting point of view.

Lady vols are set inside.....just need 3-4 new guards that can hit the 3 and drive and dish off if needed with speed. 3 point shotting must be the priority.
Methinks you have no clue how NIL works. Nobody at UTAD controls it or can be associated with it.
