Please leave Tyler Bray

Riddle me this. Who has been the source of leadership from which Bray should have learned? Herman Lathers? I love the dude, and appreciate him for what he does, but you can't be a quiet leader. The fact of the matter is, we have been in a state of homeostasis over the last 3 years, under the promise of a process and improvement. What I've seen is a talent increase and development and coaching intelligence decrease. Tyler may have played badly, but these coaches do NOTHING to help. NOTHING. They will sit there and run the same damn stupid sweep play that's been getting eaten in the backfield all game. We had a CLEAR edge in the run game early, yet we insisted on forcing Bray to throw. I echo the sentiment earlier in the thread that it "Starts at the top."

Bray will not be making millions--I'll bet my hat on that. He's another Ainge-no leadership skills, no mobility, panics when pressured. He's had to do a lot with our bum defense, but he doesn't do anything when it counts, either. We need a QB with some FIRE.

He absolutely deserves to be the Vols starting QB. I'll bump this thread next year when everyone is whining that we need Bray

Dude I don't give a CRAP if we NEED his talent, I don't WANT his attitude, his pouting or his lack of leadership skills. All of that played a factor in him sucking tonight, which played a huge role in us losing. So no we don't need him.

I have no reason and never will have to feel sorry for Derek Dooley.

Take your check and leave.

Bottom line is I don't care if your coaches have hurt you and you don't believe in them or want to play for them next year. But you go out and play your heart out for your team. Tyler doesn't care. Therefore I don't want him.

I'm not attacking his playing ability. I'm saying he doesn't care and that's obvious. So I'm not a retard. If he wants my support he's gotta care.

If you think benching him was a good idea then... Yeah you're a retard.

We had the lead and chance to take the momentum into halftime. Instead Worley threw what was essentially a pick 6 and it was downhill from then.

I want a qb like johnny football...he has heart..and will get you 4 yards if you need it...bray..gets a little pressure and throws the ball out of bounds...that is the difference

In my opinion Tyler Bray threw this game. He must have had Vandy and laid the 4 points. I have watched every game this year and have never seen so many passes thrown in the wrong place. Receivers were looking at him and he never got upset. Maybe I am wrong but it sure smells bad. Bray averages 434 yards per game, How many did he get tonight?????? Everyone has a off day but not this off. This game sure looked fixed to me. JMO

This is ridiculous and to make a claim like that with no other evidence except "He played badly" is just plain ignorant. And by that standard our defense must have been betting on every other team since the UF game

He is not a leader on this team. What he did tonight looked alot like the Kentucky game last year. When he didn't want to practice to go to a crappy bowl game at 6-6. He and Hunter and Patterson are not NFL ready. Maybe the new coach can lite a fire under him. I hope it is Gruden, but until i see the press conference saying Gruden is the next Tennessee Vols football coach i do not believe he will be comming here.

Bray was fine until Fooley pulled him after the tipped int....he started rough but you don't pull your star QB after a bad play, you let him find his stride. The whole team said **** Dooley after that. Not just bray

Our 38 point per game offense scores & points receivers all year have been in the right places and tonight look what happened. Overthrown passes from the first one throwing the ball to where no receiver is ???? something smells Think about it.

Bray was 11-29 103yds and 37%comp.... I don't think he tried to throw the game, thats crazy. If he truly didn't care he would ball out and try to go to the NFL. He has not shot of going to the league with stats and an attitude like he did tonight. I was at the game and his mood was aweful.
