As a resident of Knoxville and a Tennessee alum I would personally like to thank Dooley for what he has done to try to improve the mess that he inherited after Kiffin bolted. Unfortunately it was too big of a mess for him to handle and it ultimately led to his demise. The question becomes will his successor (who I think will be Kirby Smart) be able to right the ship or are we going to be at the bottom of the football barrel for decades to come?

Dooley's leaving with more $ ($5 million) than most of us will ever make in a lifetime. Considering his pathetic performance just this one year alone, it is difficult to see how he deserves 50 cents. The athletic donors and season ticket holders are paying him. Have they gotten their money's worth? They have had to endure endless (it has seemed) grief.
Coach Fulmer got $6 million, richly deserved, but if you feel sorry for Dooley, you need to make an appt Mon with a psychiatrist!!!!!

Not saying it was the right thing to do but ask yourself would you? Would you go out there after knowing your fired and show face? No coach would but Joker Phillips, it just doesn't happen.

Total freedom becomes no freedom. Never giving grace towards others becomes hate. Hesitate to teach others breeds stupidity. Asking for respect isn't kicking you in the face. It's just a request. You will respond with hate and what the heck is bucksnort. Seems you know more about it then me.

You get it or you don't.

Yes, I would. As I understand it, we would not have announced his firing until after the UK game if he wanted to coach.

I'm not upset. The move is good for both sides.

I don't like seeing constant hate towards people no matter what. It scares me what direction this fanbase is going. I surely don't share the hate they/you do and am blessed for that. Maybe someday you will see.

I'm glad this is finally come to a head...Sick of all the bashing and hating......I hate it for Dooley...he really is a class act and its a shame it didn't work out him and all the UT fans.....Thanks Dooley for the good things you did... I wish you and your family the best in the future.
