Georgia Southern did not have the first perfect season in the history of college football.Overated-CAL
Underated-Tennessee
Cockiest-Florida
Whiniest-UGA (fans)
Succesful-Tennessee (after last season who picked us to be like this honestly)
Whoever said the "U" the only thing they are successful in is being thugs, i mean what does the U stand for? Under-arrest? I mean i know its the OB, and all, but i better not talk to much that announcer may want to meet me at the end of the tunnel, I mean if you wanna talk title talk, Georgia Southern, 23 Years 6 titles, one of them a perfect season, the first in college football history, and the first two came only 2 years of EVER having a program,,,,,,, even though Darth Van Gorder isnt doin so hot right now,,,
Settle down there my desert commrade. Just asking...Did you see the Miami game?
Did you see the Air Force game?
All teams have games where they play less than decent. ALL teams.
I would agree that beating the "U," in and of itself, isn't a great accomplishment this year. However, beating them by 24 in a game where your starting QB only played a half isn't a shabby performance.Settle down there my desert commrade. Just asking...
I will say that Airforce came at a terrible time in the schedule preparation-wise and emotion wise. I'll also say that no team that looked like they did in the first half against MTSU is that strong. Risking the ire of hatevol, I think "the U" is no measuring stick this year. I could be WAY of base on this, but I definately think they score in the top 5 of over rateds. Just my opinion and probably seen through SEC glasses.
I defer...that is better than shabby. Bush was healthy then was'nt he? Man, I hated seeing him go down. He was sure fun to watch.I would agree that beating the "U," in and of itself, isn't a great accomplishment this year. Is this just for the season? If so, I don't see how you put Florida on the whiner's list. I think we've been pretty quiet about things. In fact, read yesterday that all SEC teams are invited each week to send in to the SEC tape of calls they question and Florida did not even complain about the incomplete pafumble call last weekend.
The USC/Arkansas game was 16-7 at halftime with Arkansas having no QB and McFadden being injured. USC went on to run up the score and returning some turnovers for TDs to make it look good.Kind of a funny thing...
I'm noticing a lot of contradiction here.
USC obliterates SEC West leader Arkansas on the Piggies' turf and yet is called overrated because of shabby Pac-10 play since.
On the same coin, Cal gets spanked by us and no matter how well they go on to play the same Pac-10 teams, they're called overrated because of week 1.

First off, Arkansas got sent packing, just like Cal did. No two ways about it. Ark didn't even hit 300 yards total offense, USC posessed the ball for about 11 more minutes, then turnover ration was 5/0 in favor of SC. In the first half, SC scored on 4 of its six posessions. The lead may not have been huge, but it's a brand-new offense. Same as Ark, whose first half looked like this: fumble, 3 & out, 3 & out, fumble, fumble, 3 & out, touchdown. The USC/Arkansas game was 16-7 at halftime with Arkansas having no QB and McFadden being injured. USC went on to run up the score and returning some turnovers for TDs to make it look good.
At no point was the Cal/UT game that close. What was Cal's excuse, again? They'd never played in front of a crowd that exceeds 30K?
