In general this is the scoring system
5 points for leading a lap
5 points for leading the most laps
190 points for winning a race and leading the most laps
180 points starting with 2nd place on back to 5th. Each position separated by 5 points unless someone has led a lap or the most laps
6th-10 there's a 4 point difference between each position
11th-43rd there's a 3 point difference
there's only 43 open spots for each NSCS so for each car that DNQ's(fails to qualify, isn't one of the fastest 43 to make the field) then the owner points will start from 31 from 44th place and on down until the DNQ's are eventually concluded no driver points are counted
