How much of the way people vote have to do with the amount of money they make?

1. If the people on here are afraid Obama will take lots of money from them then I see why they worry. Not saying he will.
2. If the lower incomes will be helped by Obama then I see why they vote that way.
3. I am not rich but I dont want BPVs money or any of your money for that matter!
4. Why should any person rich or poor pay MORE why cant we find another way so no one feels slighted?

How in the hell did my money get involved?

I like #4 and that kind of thinking is a step in the right direction. Flat tax, fair tax and consumption tax all try to go that direction.

I respect people who worked hard and make tons of money and they deserve to keep all of it they earned.

Both sides play on the fears people have about their finances. The most hypocritical thing about it to me is that Democrats claim to "for the little man" when they are all wealthy!

We do need some tax reform, there is no question. Only problem is neither party will give that up because that is a major driving force behind many of the votes people cast.

Here's one who isn't, and that's the first time I've ever heard that statement about Democrats.

It isn't just true for Democrats, I neglected the repubs, all politicians are wealthy.

I'm sorry I just read my post and saw that I forgot to say Democrat politicians are wealthy.

If Count Baracula is telling the truth about his tax plan, I should get a tax break but I still thing his entire approach is wrong and will reduce the economic strength of this country and the opportunity for most to improve their lot in life.

I've been hearing that Chairman MaObama's tax plan is rigged with conditions, much like Clinton's "targeted tax cuts".

and, can an Obama supporter tell me why Obama's income limit is 200K for a single person and 250k for married? Neither is what you'd call rich and none of Obama's schemes take into account the different costs of living in different areas of the country. 250K/year for a family of 4 living in downtown Manhattan won't go nearly as far as it would living in Morristown, TN.

That's 250k for a married couple.

Just relax, it'll be okay. :good!:

Earth to Droski........your republican president and republican Congress created the largest deficit in American history, even without the war.

My idea of rich won't change. Rich is close to eight digits if not eight digits and I can promise you I am not in any denial

What if you have republican guilt, does that change any thing if you voted for W????????

I would rather have Kerry and a conservative congress than the mess we are in right now.
