What are Bray's yard totals in our 5 losses?
What are Bray's yard yotals in our 4 wins?
Career wise....
What are Bray's yard yotals in league games?
What are Bray's yard totals in non league games?
Bray and Manning are not in same league, literally, or figuratively.

lol

Like I said, Bray's schedule this year is a lot tougher than Manning's in 97. Guys like you whined that Bray broke Manning's single game record against crappy competition, while Manning's record came also against crappy competition.

Get over it.

I hope he gets the yardage, but it has nothing to do with breaking Manning's record. I hope he throws for 500yds/game.

I wouldn't mind if Bray broke Manning's record. Let's face it, watching the O sling it around the field is about the only thing worth watching with this team. Why not?

Sad our football season has sunk to arguing about some meaningless record, rather than real success on the field. I didn't think anything about the record when Manning set it, and I don't care whether Bray breaks it or not. The season was highly disappointing, and we're now left with playing some equally crappy teams and hoping to play in some crappy bowl that no one cares about but the fans of the teams playing in it. Optimism is not a word I would use to describe the state of our football program, either now nor in the near future.

Now Peyton's NFL records will be broke by Luck!
Who cares, the records are made to be broken , atleast it's not J Crompton doing the breaking!

I think we're 10-15 plays per game from being a GREAT team. 3-4 per game would bump us up to good imo.

Even Dooley conceded this point on one of the post-game shows with Bob Kesling. Dooley stated that, for about 60 plays a game, we play sound defense. Then, for about 10-15 plays, we are a really BAD defensive team.

Records are made to be broken. Peyton will always be considered the best QB ever at UT no matter what. Only thing that would keep from wanting Bray to break it is if the RB's get 300 yards a game.

Don't care, really. It would be nice for him, but it really doesn't matter.

If he does, though, it'd be an impressive feat since Peyton's record includes the Orange Bowl.

LOL @ you clowns voting no. I mean really?

Yes, it's been a bad season and he has made some bad throws, but overall he's been a bright spot in an otherwise frustrating season.

Do we hate everyone on the team, as well as the staff?

We've played pretty well vs the run (minus that UGA game).

With this defense, I'd rather have a 3rd and 4 than a 3rd and 20.

No joke.

So far, yeah. But all we need is a guy like Tyler who can also beat UFaag, and Peyton suddenly could lost that spot.

Because, you know....Peyton always choked against Ufaag.

Most likely the only way we win is with TB slinging it all over the place. So i hope he has broken by halftime with Vandy.

I hope he does well in these last 3 games, just well enough to win them... personally I’d rather not have a pot head drunk who will most likely be remembered for the big games he never won than anything else hold that record, especially considering who he would be unseating.

I hope he misses the record by a yard or two and then goes pro. I've had enough of Tyler "Can't win the big game" Bray.

didn't vote btw

haha... you would try to throw a jab a Peyton in a thread where you're trying to lift Bray to Manning like status.

and implying that Peyton choked vs Florida is funny especially considering how many times your boy Bray has choked in what few games he kept us close enough to even choke (ie. UGA and USCe). For the most part he's sucked so bad he doesn't even have to opportunity to choke.

trollin Manning...? :birgits_giggle: :jpshakehead:

No one cares what you think, as you're a troll.

You don't know what 'imply' means. I'm not 'implying' anything. I'm stating it.

He choked vs UFaag. Every year. 3 in a row.

Choke.

He's a great QB, the best we've ever had....but he choked...3 years in a row.

Choked.

Now, back under your bridge.

If Bray keeps his season pace. He would be 266-455, 58 pct, 3749 yards, 33 TDs, 13 Ints. This would be in 12 games.

Manning was 287-477, 60 pct, 3819 yards, 36 TDs, 11 Ints. This is in 11 games.

Pretty good stats either way. Too bad one is considered a legend, and people wish the other wasn't here. Never will understand the way people think about our players.

tyler has 6644 yards and 60 tds in 25 games.

thats 266 yards a game and 2.4 tds per game

if he continues that for the next 17 games (yes im assuming we get a bowl game this year and next) he will have

11,162 career yards and 101 career tds

thats good for 4th and 2nd all time in the SEC. and 2nd and 1st all time for tennessee. just thought that was interesting

I did not vote. I don't care about individual records. They are nice. Winning is important. If Bray gets 500/game and UT loses it is a loss. If he gets 5/game and UT wins it is a win. That's the bottom line.

[edit: can't spell]

Tim Tebow fan imo.
