Knowing the committee, they’ll keep OSU above us based on the brand alone and use the “rivalry game” excuse.

If they don’t, committee will have some explaining to do. Georgia dropped from 3 to 12 when they lost to Ole Miss.
Ole Miss > Michigan

Hate to say it but based on the rankings, OSU has a better resume than us. We have one ranked win and our best other win is probably Florida at home or a road win at Vandy or OK (6-6 teams). I believe we’ve beaten two teams total that had winning records.

I think its funny how everyone thinks that the guy in charge of the CFP poll, who is the AD of Michigan will discount his school no matter thier record, and drop Ohio State that far. He's going to protect the B1G ....my guess they drop to like 6 maybe even 5. Only team that drops below us will be Miami.

Should... imho, no acc/ b1g, or big 12 team with 1 loss shouldn't be ranked ahead of a 2 loss SEC team. PERIOD!

No because they are Ohio State. Ohio State and Bama will get every benefit of the doubt always.

I guess it depends if you think Arkansas is a worse loss than Michigan. I think they are at least comparable, but Michigan is a better "brand" than Arkansas.

I guess we will see.

They should drop below us, but I'll believe it when I see it.

"Michigan is a quality loss and Vandy is a bad win, Ohio remains ahead of Tennessee" or some such nonsense.

I agree, but just don't know how they'll calibrate the wins over Oregon, IU, PSU, vs our wins over Bama, Florida, vs our loss of ARK vs Michigan, where I think Oregon and UGA kinda cancel each other. Our only chance is the recency of the L for OSU, but they have been riding top 3 all season...my guess is bias towards OSU (like Bama) wins out over Vols and we're going to Columbus...though I don't think it's right.

This is what I'm saying. People on here think we'll drop and don't think OSU will. We dropped from 7 to 12 after a road loss in Athens. It was a 1 possession game going to the 4th. There is no way OSU shouldn't drop to at least 8th.
