Except Turner didn't foul. Phantom call. The NCAA tourney is overvalued at identifying the very best teams because it's a one and done tournament that's saturated with too many teams. Luck plays too much of a factor. Not sure our ceiling is as high as Grant's senior-year team that lost to Purdue thanks for Turner's dumb foul. Grant gave us a true go-to guy near the basket when we needed a hoop. This should be a good team but we don't have a go-to inside player; will have to rely more on outside shooting in crucial, end-of-game situations--which can be more problematic.

That guy hates Barnes so much that he dedicates time from his day to come on here to drag him. He's always been that way. Everyone looks forward to his annual appearance in the basketball forum. The very type of fan that will complain no matter how far Barnes takes this team. If it's the E8, which supposedly would surpass his expectations, then come April, it will be about how Barnes failed to get us to the F4. If we somehow make it to the F4, it will be about how Barnes can't win the big one on the biggest stage in our first and only appearance. If we make the title game...well, you get it.Yep. Not sure why your ilk can't accept the reality that Barnes is a great coach. Hang in there
Sure. I never said he wasn't a great coach. Just responded REALISTICALLY to the question. Sorry to get those of your ilk all bent out of shape. He is what he is. Great regular season coach. Not so much in the tourney. What's the problem?Yep. Not sure why your ilk can't accept the reality that Barnes is a great coach. Hang in there
