I don't know how many of you have watched ND this year, but thier defense is suspect to say the least.  Then again, so is our offense but all of this "we will not score" crap is ridiculous.  We have played far better defenses that ND's this year and at least put up some points.

I know its bad to refer to this game as much as we all do but. They shut down the USC running game. Reggie Bush is by far one of them most talented RB's I have seen. We dont have a ranking running game, and we dont know who is the main QB, and we cant ceach passes. Now that i think about it, expect to see the the BAMA game all over again.

Our guys know how to execute, they just needed something to snap their focus into place. They have something to play for now that they didn't have before the SC game. That Alabama game really deflated our guys IMO.

Defense throws a shutout in an inspired dominating performance.

Arian Foster rushes for 200 yards and a TD, and the commentators mention him in the same sentence as "Heisman."

Tennessee 19
Notre Dame 0

I dunno about that with those Notre Dame broadcasters... that's the only reason I'm not looking forward to this game, their broadcasters are terrible. The USC/ND game would've been ten times better if it was on an unbiased network.

I think the kids have something to prove this week and they will put forth a great effort, but they won't be able to overcome the months of poor COACHING; like how to run routes, catch, block, not false-start, hold onto the ball, etc.

It could get ugly! It'll be one way or the other,Notre Dame still winning depending how tired the defense gets. Irish will win 38-7 or if our defense plays as well as they did against Bama, it'll be 17-3.

Umm, no offense, but I dont know what games you have been watching this year, but Reggie Bush RAN ALL OVER ND. They did not come close to shutting down any of USC's offense. They were just able to score with USC. Had they shut down USC, they wouldn't have allowed that game-winning drive at the end of the game.

IMO, ND's defense is soft. If UT plays like the UT that played in the second half of the LSU game, we can give them a run for their money. However, if not, we'll be getting blown out of the stadium. They'll have the backups in before the 4th quarter. ND can score on anybody (including our defense, which will be proven Saturday). That's not a shot at our defense, but Charlie Weiss could put up over 40 pts on the steelers, he can figure ways to score against Chavis's unit.

We'll fall behind early, then exchange a few field goals before they blow it open at the end of the 3rd quarter.

ND wins 37-19. (All field goals for UT, and a defensive touchdown)

How interesting it could be! Imagine, we lose our OC and the team seems to be in shambles. However, something causes a spark this week in practice and the realization that the season is almost over causes the seniors to rise to the occasion and that motivates the rest of the guys. We roll into ND and play a solid game on both defense and offense. ND can't believe the team that they are playing. How can these guys be 3-4? So much for the BCS bowl for ND. Down goes the Irish 24-13. The newscasters can't get enough of the glimmer of what could have been. What should have been.

GO VOLS! BEAT ND!

I dont care how good our defense plays... If our offense keeps going 3 and out, the defense will wear down and give up plays. Trust me, I see it happen all the time in the NFL games.

Hell, that's part of the strategy when you play a team like the Baltimore Ravens.
