Nothing can make me feel worse than GA winning.

You have to understand that all of the things you are saying do nothing but highlight why everyone hates GA. Wear it like a badge of honor.

Understood, friend.

We're wearing the Championship belt that everyone wants.

Some dude -- he always seems to lead his team to a win, unlike all those other guys.

He wouldn’t start for most high school teams. He is just surrounded by great players. He wouldn’t even start for any other team in the SEC. Game manager at best. He’ll never play a down in the league. Enough said.

I don't think you're giving Stet his due. Yes, he is surrounded by great players but if you really look at who he's throwing to... sure, Georgia has the best TE room in the country but receivers?

CJ Stroud has better receivers
Caleb Williams has better receivers
Bryce Young has better receivers
Hendon Hooker has better receivers

At Tennessee we call that player development. With 7 4 🌟 WRs on your roster maybe Georgia should try it.

Propping up Stet while throwing under developed players....

How silly.

Our issue at receiver has been an unlucky amount of injuries at that position.

Player development? Georgia just set the record last year for players drafted in a single draft.

IMHO, Hendon Hooker is the best college QB of 2022. Put his stats up against anyone else’s (and I’m not detracting from the other QBs having had stellar seasons). Compare him to all others through the first ten games, and it’s even more apparent. I dismiss the jaded committee members making national award decisions. I care little for the opinions of jaded media hacks. As a Tennessee alumnus, I have acknowledged the past performances of recognized athletes with genuine appreciation. My lifelong humility and grace only reinforce my dismissal of those who discount Hooker’s performance due to his season-ending injury in the tenth game. GBO.

And why is a Georgia troll on a Tennessee site? I could care less about Stet, as you call him. Our man Hooker got hosed. Stetson shouldn’t have been invited to New York. He doesn’t even deserve a seat at the table. I also think Georgia fans are the worst in the SEC. My wife and I went to Georgia’s stadium once, barely got out of there with our lives. A bunch of obnoxious drunks. Tennessee fans are always hospitable to opposing teams. Our band even plays opponents fight song during pregame warmups. I don’t agree with it, but we do. I’m sure Rocky Top has never been played by the Georgia band. A lot said to say…..who cares about the bulldogs.

Impressive group in the 1-3 rounds and occasionally there's value in a 4-7 round pick but most of that group usually need more development. Count those 6 if you want.

First it's better receiver's and now it's injuries. You're just all over the place. Every team has injuries and it's next man up. Tillman goes down, Keyton comes in. Doesn't always work out so well but with 7 4*s WRs on your roster I'm not buying your better-injury story.

Yes, Hooker should have definitely got an invite. Also, I would have voted Hooker over Caleb Williams on character alone.

I've never seen anything too obnoxious with opposing fans at Sanford, that's just my experience.

Never had any issues at Neyland either.

Really? Was already in the NFL when Sabon was at Miami.

You currently have the top program in the country at you and wife's alma mater.

Highest or 2nd highest salary of any NCAA coach.

Top 5 recruiting class every single year.

Georgia has built you maybe the best football Facilities in the country.

What motivation would Kirby have to leave for the NFL?
No Recruiting

As you know, Georgia has recruited at a very high level at every position. We just haven't kept pace with Bama and OSU at receiver, even though we are still very good at the position group in relation to rest of the teams in the country.

We've just had a rash of injuries at WR. Last year Championship team opened with 4 of our top 5 receivers injured.

Last season, our 5-star #1 X-receiver was injured virtually the entire season. (G. Pickens)

This season, our #1 X-receiver has been injured virtually the entire season. (A. Mitchell)

I get it, Georgia has an embarrassment of riches at most positions but for people to say Stet hasn't played QB at a high level is simply not true.

Maybe so, bad news for Tennessee man is Kirby keeps stacking Top 3 recruiting classes.

Although, after next year, it doesn't look like we'll be playing every year.

To be honest, I'm not afraid of Kirby's recruiting as much as I am his player development. He doesn't even utilize the portal, he molds his own. It's amazing that Kirby and his staff can coach 3 stars (the few they have) into playing like 5 stars every game day. Saban used to be like that but Kirby has passed him by. THIS is what we need at Tennessee. I think JH has us headed in the right direction but I'm not sure we can get there hiring a team of NIL mercenaries like the disaster that Texas A&M is. I hope good things continue in Knoxville.

Caleb Williams will win the trophy because the talking heads want him to win it. If you look at the stats all four have,CW has the better stats. HH would be second on the list when you add his rushing totals. Again, Stetson doesn’t have the stats to be invited. He is invited because his team is 13-0. He doesn’t win football games, Smart knows he won’t take chances with the ball. In other words, he is a game manage. It should have been between HH and CW. Those two meant the most to their teams. Strout had a game against Northwestern that he through for less than 80 yards. He also has less than 100 yards rushing. He doesn’t deserve it either but he got invited because he plays for OS. All bogus reasons for him and SB to get invited.

Lies all lies. No one loves this mess with portal, NIL and HS drama!
Plus more money in the NFL

It's widely known Kirby loves recruiting and enjoys showing up at High Schools in his helicopter.

The NIL / portal is new for everyone but for an outstanding recruiter like Kirby, it's just another opportunity to siphon off talent from other teams.

4 or 5 coaches in the NFL get paid more than Kirby and several of those have GM duties.

Plus, there are many perks and advantages Kirby has at coaching at Georgia.

Speaking of character, every fanbase has their garbage fans.20221210_103334.png Y'all have this one.

Seeing as that other award that shall not be named is clearly voted upon by morons and haters who either don't know anything about football or don't like us, I believe it is high time that we institute our own award that will be voted upon by people who can appreciate and properly evaluate excellence in the game of football. Therefore, please place your vote for the VolNation College Football Player of the Year Award! The winner might receive the trophy below. Think carefully and vote wisely!

Your Poll would express more genuine and less "homeristic" opinions if it were shared w/ the masses across the country.

What if, say, ESPN (hate'em), on a a couple of Saturday afternoon and evening college football broadcasts put this out there w/ a deadline for final tabulation?

That would seem to be a more accurate assessment of college football fan opinions nationwide.

Can you make this happen?

He's better than Levis but he simply isn't better than Hooker or Young or Rogers.

I stop here. I am simply over talking about Georgia.

UGA fans like to point out that Hooker didn’t throw a TD pass in the game against them. That is one game out of the 11 games he played.

They don’t ever mention that Stetson had 4 games in which he didn’t throw a TD pass and 3 of those games were in a row (Kent st, AUB, and Mizzou) and finally the UK game.

But yeah he is the best QB in the country with his 26 accounted for TDs in 2022. The last time a Heisman winning QB only had 26 TDs accounted for running and passing was 1942, and it was a HB….UGA’s own Frank Sinkwich.
