Defense is ahead of offense at beginning of season.

Teams hunted and took advantage of PG issues.

Barnes never makes adjustments and just sits on the bench until it’s too late. He also doesn’t use his timeouts when a team is making a run.

We don’t have any real shooters that can carry a team. Phillips hasn’t developed like he should have, he has actually got worse as the season has gone on. And the main reason, we are just not as talented as we all thought we were.

This team seemed to get up for the big games(Kansas, Texas, alabama, etc) which leads me to believe they just aren’t mentally tough enough to compete night in and night out.

IMO we were always going to have some struggles because we lack a true scorer. Our defense has been elite all year, but we just haven’t improved much, if any, on offense. We don’t do enough to draw a lot of fouls, our FT shooting is mediocre to poor in important moments, and we haven’t improved at shooting the three ball. It’s really hard to win consistently when you struggle in those areas and you don’t have someone that can regularly break down a defense.

With ZZ out we are screwed going forward. Even WITH him we were doomed. Guys hit it right saying lack of "go to guy" in the clutch. We don't have that elite star/stud to win close games. It was fun for awhile...

It’s the offense. It’s always been the offense. Defense is great. Has been. We don’t run great set plays for when we really need a basket. It’s just ehh…we’ll hold it to about 12 seconds in the shot clock. Throw a screen at the ball handler….hopefully something good happens.

We were the same good on defense and extremely inconsistent on offense team regardless who was in or out with injuries so I don't think that derailed this team. The ZZ injury not withstanding. This injury is critical to our success and leaves us with no chance at a deep run. There is literally no one to guard the ball if we face a good point guard moving forward. That is the one guy we couldn't afford to lose.

Mainly we just suck on offense is the biggest issue with the season and then we began to struggle at times on defense so when you can’t stop them and can’t score you lose games you shouldn’t.

I picked inconsistent shooting from outside and defense not consistent, and both point to a reason not listed ... this team spent a LOT of energy this season being one of the best D's in the country.

IMO, this team is tired.

You can season in all the other factors listed, they certainly played a part, but we are better than we've shown lately and I think late season fatigue is a big reason we've been inconsistent.

Sadly, this team has the look of an early tourney exit again.

schedule got a lil tougher and teams started to kind of figure out how to play us defensively. with that being said, i still have confidence that this team can get hot and get some wins. just have to get some key stops and hit some shots.

This team is inconsistent period! Part of this on games we lose, there is NO SENSE OF URGENCY!

1 & 7 are the same thing which might dilute the vote total for "lack of inside scoring." Can you combine those?
